Amici’s not so happy.

That comment may be lost on the young 'uns, nearly 20 years ago now.

The trouble between the large group of supporters started on Radcliffe Road, Nottingham, after Saturday's game. The nearby Amici wine bar was damaged inside and out during the incident. Three men from the Avon and Somerset area, aged 17, 41 and 44, have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and criminal damage

Agreed; a great game for neutral viewers. Four bookings in the first half, but it wasn't a dirty foul ridden game.

It’s what happens when VAR isn’t around to ruin the game. Plenty of robust tackles but nothing dirty - the ref had a decent game. Hopefully we should have Awoniyi and Sangare back for the replay.

Good game that we had the best of.

Both teams poor with decision making in the attacking box

Agree with that. It’s the decision making in the final position that’s the issue, eg Bell passing to Anis instead of shooting, Pring stepping over for Wells tap in, better crosses etc.

You forget to mention that the pub was full of women and children who were chucking chairs back so claimed after the event, those women are tough up north

So, as we’ve seen Manning favours a high possession, high pressing style of football that is similar to what teams like Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea use. He likes to play with three at the back, two wing-backs, two creative midfielders and a lone striker. This system allows us to dominate the ball, create chances and press the opposition high up the pitch. It also gives us defensive solidity and flexibility to switch formations if needed.

This style of play works well against Premier League teams because they also like to play out from the back and keep the ball. We can disrupt their rhythm, force them into mistakes and exploit the spaces they leave behind. However, this style of play is not as effective against Championship teams because they are more physical, direct and like to play a much deeper block against us.  We’ve struggled against teams like this in the league, so, are we better suited to play in the Premier League than the championship? 😉

Not sure the game was helped by the ref giving non stop free kicks.

Agree, thought the Ref was a bit crap tonight.

James saw a yellow for obstruction  (?) barge maybe? Pring got flattened in their box and got nothing. Very similar I thought?

Why, we never get the ball into dangerous areas quick enough to score, we arent creating chances, if we were then wed score goals, both Tommy & Nahki are good enough, Van Basten wouldnt score in our team.

So miserable

Well in our 3 “premier league” games we average 1.66 points per game, over 38 games that’s 63 points and a top 10 finish.

More like we are an owner and a chair away from creating a very very good side

What a stupid naive thing to say. We have just demonstrated what this team can do and you have to pour scorn on the owner...we are held back by this sort of bitter resentment and silly childish digs. Unhappy sod go support the other lot at least your moaning will have merit.
