Thought he should get some well deserved recognition with a thread of his own.  He’s really grown into this side since he’s joined and has been so so good the last few games (in contention for MOM in each imo).

His reading of the game is immaculate, brings the ball out of defence with ease and his distribution is very good.

Well done Rob, keep it up son!

Well unless I’m mistaken he was linked with prem clubs a season a go and touted as a multimillion pound player then had a very very bad season in a poor qpr side seems to be the perfect example of needing a change and getting his confidence back!!!

A fantastic signing in the summer. Can do everything required of a central defender, good distribution, great at reading the game, dominant with his head, and so comfortable both bringing the ball forward and playing a pass forward. That latter attribute has become more evident in the last few games. He may have even shown Zak how to dribble with the ball for last night’s very unexpected run into the penalty box!

Also really enjoy seeing how generally pleased / happy he is to be here same as gardiner-Hickman you can tell from the interviews it does seem a happy camp . With a good honest bunch , just lack that little bit of quality / flair in midfield

Dickie’s interviews are good value, very insightful.

Potential captain material? Or is that TGH? As said before on here, of our best performers this season, Dickie, Knight and TGH all stand out as great acquisitions in the summer. Hopefully, despite all the behind the scene changes at the club, the scouting hasn’t changed that much and we can continue to pick up relative bargains.

Here's an article from August 2021, they were talking him up a fair bit.

Agree TGH or Dickie great Captain Material for me. Very steady and level headed and passionate players.
