Not quite forgotten but certainly not one that many were itching to get back into the XI. But he was great tonight to back up a fine performance against Forest in the Cup (with a cameo against Boro in-between). That's squad depth. Pring out or rested, and a guy like that comes in. Different attributes to Cam, I think Roberts is possibly better with the ball, but Cams physical attributes are unreal. I got just about everything wrong before the game, and nothing more so than feeling concerned when I saw Pring out and H in. Couldn't have been more wrong. It was said that when Nigel and his staff saw him in pre-season training he was even better than they expected. When you look at the squad Liam inherited it shows that recent recruitment has been unusually successful, Roberts being an example.
