Cornick - it's been bothering me.

I like Cornick

Never going to be one of my all time faves, but I just think we always look better when he is on the pitch.

I think he will go down as one that you look back on and realise what he did for the team.

A bit like Nicky Morgan.

Although he ain't no Nicky Morgan. Doesn't score enough and Nicky Morgan IS definitely one of my faves.

Last night was great for him & Sam Bell.

Both badly needed a goal & got one.

I have stuck up for him on here & think he’s a good squad option, some of the comments about a bloke who has had a decent career (you can’t bluff that number of games at Luton) have been ridiculous.

Haven’t seen any highlights, but it looked a top finish tonight.  Was it?

It was a good finish, those sort of chances are easy to spoon.

What made it easier was the ‘out and in’ run by Wells to create the space. Then the ball from McCorie that was flat, pacy and on Cornicks step.

Really pleased for Cornick. He really is a team player. What people have to realise is that he's being asked to do a certain type of job when he comes on. I hope some of his previous detractors realise this before binning certain City  players off.

Had a great view of Wells run…so unselfish.  Wells touch when he came in was top-notch.

Was it TGH fed the ball to McCrorie? Because that was a great pass too.

All in all, a classic counter attack goal.

Similar to Scott's pass to Wells to set up the goal  at Preston last season.

He came here with no match fitness and got judged by many far too soon. Has had a pre season with us and is now loudly knocking on the door for a starting place. Fair play to him. I think he’s really good, he works hard and gives us something different to what we already have.
