Cardiff City at home match thread

A perfect example of our issue there, Dickie trying to move the ball into the middle but the movement is poor and the two players in the middle have no option even if they receive the pass because all our players are high or wide and the distance is too great for a quick pass.
So we have no outlet in the middle, meaning we're forced wide where they then pinch the wings in and close up the inside pass. Cardiff are going to get more dangerous turn overs with this build up playstyle, they've already identified it and adjusted accordingly.

Pass around at the back slowly until we give it away, leading to a dangerous free kick. Luckily nothing came of it, but summed us up so far.

Yes we need to make a change, agree with those saying move Sykes to RHS, bring on Conway, shift Wells a little left, take off Williams.

Why are you stopping play for that ref??? He’s sitting on his arse not holding his head.

That might be where his brains are.

God help us at Ipswich

I know it sounds stupid but if Ipswich come at us due to our poor results and their high confidence we may do better because we play better against teams who open up as they play. QPR, Wednesday and now Cardiff have all set up to nullify our attack and try to catch us on the counter and we're clueless in how to adapt to it, well at least Manning is.
If Ipswich open up we may actually be able to play the passes that we've not been able to recently but this is my issue with Manning, he doesn't read the game, he sets out his gameplay and refuses to change it when it doesn't work.

Bad enough that we're short on attacking quality without making it worse by playing them out of position!

Oh do keep up, we have a tactically brilliant Head Coach according to our two less than superheroes

We’ve only got 6 mins to the 60 min triple substitution..
