I think I like McCrorie’s physicality, he does look up for a fight at corners.  I bet he’s a right menace outside the kebab shop at 2am on a Sun morning. I wouldn’t be caught looking at his pint, kebab or bird…

Cardiff started nervous, but you can see they are growing. They are also slowing everything down, killing any intensity.

 

This game needs a spark, this game needs some emotion.

No risk taking, means very little emotion, we're robotic, Cardiff are Robotic until they catch us with a bad pass. The football on display is the cause behind this. We're toothless on the ball, no players willing to take a pass and turn and run towards goal meaning it's that same old robotic passing patterns.
We started off stronger but Cardiff are now comfortable with our build-up passing and we're not mixing it up making it predictable and boring to watch. Our only real chances are coming from loose deflections/ passes that we're picking up on and attacking directly. If we can't adapt when our opponents figure us out and set up accordingly then we're going to have more QPR/Wednesday-like games, more frustrated fans and thus no real atmosphere.

From the opening 40 minutes this game rides on which team gets the lucky disposes and capitalises on it.

It’s always been overhyped as a derby I think. The fact that the fixture almost never sells out tells you how much it really matters.

Sykes absolutely bullied by Ng there  put so much effort into that shoulder barge and sent himself flying.

Agree with the little risk taking, a few times Williams has received the ball and could have turned but has given it back.

Players rarely drive into the box now, all triangles and square passes. Rather watch football than geometry. Pythagoras would love this.

The amount of empty seats in the sold out South Stand today is just ridiculous.

Cheapest seats in the ground, rarely available to members or infrequent attendees. Club need to do something about it.

Thanks for letting me know, I've only been watching football for 40 years and yeah to an extent but it's a derby(ISH) and that's technically not true all the time or at least it shouldn't be!

Behave.  Up until the early naughties nothing had an edge like this one. The centre took on an almost oppressive air to it.
