Well, Jon said “We want to be challenging at the right end of the division this season”, which is why we had to make the change when we did. Unfortunately he was looking at the League table upside down. Edited March 5 by Gert Mare 1
sglosbcfc
The managerial change has been an unmitigated disaster. We are not more of an attacking threat than we were under Pearson, but defensively we are nowhere near as strong. Of course we'll never know, but I believe we would have been sniffing around the play offs under Pearson, instead we are scratching around for the points needed to stay up. 5
petehinton
When you look at what was said when Pearson was sacked, along with the medical dept, compared to these stats, our league position, and our list of injured players…. It’s actually hilarious.

bearded_red
The self sabotage from the club this season should be studied for years to come. How to destroy two years of bloody hard work. 3
spudski
We could easily get dragged into a relegation battle, you only have to look at teams below us picking up points. Sheff Wed 4 wins on the trot now. QPR doing similar. 6 points off relegation.
Slack Bladder
I think JL was worried NP was actually going to get us flirting with the play-offs and just couldn't risk it. He's sleeping better now LM has got us where he wants us to be
