This Weekend’s Games

Recommended Posts

Cardiff, Coventry, PNE & Middlesbrough all lose tomorrow whilst City win would see City 8th with one game to go. 🤞

We can all dream can't we. After all, a unique and unlikely set of results can occur; just ask Rovers about the 2013-14 season. 😁

Finishing ahead of Cardiff is all we have to play for

We can only go ahead of Cardiff tomorrow. 8th is the mathematical highest we can finish if most of those lose two matches.

In terms of going up I can't really warm to.any of them.

Leicester may have breached FFP and maybe set to breach again.

Ipswich well nuff said.

Southampton, Russell Martin.

Ironically Leeds don't fit any of those and certainly appear to be aligned to FFP e.g.

I would not be too disappointed to see Leeds go up, for the simple reason they always seem to beat us!

When Leeds` defending is bad it is REALLY bad.

They were world beaters waiting for their ordination after we played like ass at AG against them! According to some.

My word we were bloody awful that night.

For any City fan, or indeed fan of english football, the preference has to be Ipswich.

Every time a parachute club goes straight back up, it's another kick in the teeth for the rest of us.

A non-parachute club going up gives us some hope, at least.

It does. However, having Leeds still down here makes it a tougher division next season.

If Ipswich don’t make it, McKenna won’t be there much longer.

We were but they were in a very rich vein, winning most weeks in a dominant manner, they were for about 2 months or until start of April.

The Championship has a great habit of dragging flying clubs back into the pack

Agreed, but still conflicted. If QPR win this Ipswich should be odds on really in any case?

Ipswich can give us hope, feels a bit of bow or never. On the flipside if Ipswich went up we would have  a minimum of 4 Parachute Payments clubs in the Championship next year, possibly even 5 depending on who wins the playoffs.

That’s my view too. Would have preferred the parachute clubs out of the way for next season - Leeds have blown it though.
