Summer wear in shop

Recommended Posts

It’s about time someone took hold of shop designs and gave the fans what they want , casual wear is going to sell better than tops with BRISTOL CITY emblazed across them . Fans these days prefer small club badges on coloured TShirts other than red , nice pastel shades + plus cargo shorts with small robin on left leg come on city give us some clobber we can wear , ie nice short sleeve shirt with small robin on pocket that’s all we need these items would sell far better than a top with Bristol City wrote up the arm x

Look we want clobber when we’re out with Mrs to look smart but we want to be recognised as city fans but we want it smart ie check shirts with a small crest on pocket - look at what people are wearing and it ain’t baggy hoodies with Bristol City wrote down arms

Im surprised people even still bother with the club shop or any club merchandise at all to be honest.

Been done to death on here over the years and it only looks to get progressively worse every year with nobody at the club seemingly thinking it is an issue.

You'd hope that if and when we get new investors this will be the first thing they will look at improving because the Lansdown's seem incapable of employing people that can.

Unfortunately it appears what supporters want with regard to the shop and it's merchandise is not a factor that is considered by the club. So many fans have expressed their disappointment with the shop and the merchandise but this has been ignored.

Think the club have missed a trick here and one that was fairly easy to fix as the basic designs are readilly available just need the crest added. Polo shirts seem to be the most popular to have a crest but cargo shorts (other than FC Bayern) and plain/checked shirts seem non existent for a crest . But a big plea if the club do ever produce a casual range No hawaiian shirts

With the Euros coming up, it would have made sense to have quality gear with both BCFC and England badges on but we probably havent got the license to sell England stuff through the shop (shame they would have made a packet)

They should get someone in to redesign our badge, and start by getting rid of the chilli. It's rubbish.

Something containing a real Robin, football and a bridge would be good.

I agree, which makes the lack of decent summer wear and the refusal to have a regular supply of retro shirts in the club shop so confusing. Both are easy money makers for the club.

Maybe just buy some good quality ' clobber' and stick a small enamel pin badge on the clothing if you want to tell all un sundry who you support when out...

If City were to produce what's being requested, you just know it would poor quality. And you'd pay through the nose for it.

I understand the desire for people to want smart casual wear (with a discreet logo) of a quality that your 'mrs' would be happy to be seen out alongside but it's not the role of a football club to be a fashion house. How many designs of casual wear (shirts, shorts etc) should the club carry? Should there be adult men/ women and a juniors range, and how many sizes? Will Bristol Sport need to give equal credence to the Bears? Given the size of the shop at the Gate I'm not so sure they could carry enough stock to make it the summer money spinner people think.
