Contrary to popular beleif....Danny Wilson DID care about this club....after the first season went by he was really into the job and commited....he'd be the first to admit that his stubborness often gets the better of him in terms of showing no emotion no matter what,a lack of passion on the outside BUT a lot of passion on the inside! Who can ever forget when he punched the air in delight after Robbo scored the winner in the PO semi's,it was completely out of character but he couldn't hold it back,he did care for the club and he did take the job very seriously! He's a lovely man and he'll be sadly missed....

Isn't it obvious what happened ?

After that bloody match Steve was as p****d off as the rest of us and with even more reason as he had to sort out the financial mess of failure.

In his position and with the standard football question of should you sack the manager after a defeat very much in the air what would you do ? You would (espeically with Wilson out of the Country) surely talk to the senior player(s) about confidence in the manager and his tactics.That would be Tinman.

Tinman , nearing the end of his playing career saw his chance and took it , and bloody good luck to him.The world of pro football is not for wimps and our man is as hard as all the others which is good otherwise he would'nt last five minutes.

THE REDS ARE GOING UP

:city::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

5 minutes earlier he'd been facing the sack and he knew it. Then a player he'd harshly treated popped up and saved his job for him (well for a couple of weeks anyway). Of course he showed more emotion than usual :city:

Not by me he won't

"Walking in a Wilson Wonderland" was sung in deep voice at almost every match during Danny's first 3 years here....

By that you mean the Atyeo H Block. This would be due to it having a tune that the band (written in the loosest sense of the word) are actually capable of playing.

Wilson was a bottler as he showed us season, after season, after season.

How can you state, on the one hand, that popular belief was that he didn't care about Bristol City. But, on the other hand, state that he will be sadly missed?

Or do you mean 'by you'?

If not, then both statements are rather sweeping generalisations.
