Local news at lunchtime predicted snow for most of Yorkshire tonight, though like you say, I would think they'd have undersoil heating at Hillsborough. England Posted February 26, 2004 Report Share Posted February 26, 2004 Games are rarely called off because of snow on the pitch nowadays but the problem of ground and stand access continues and refs call it off because of a danger to the public - no organisation can afford to take the chance in this present blame culture world we live in nevermind the dangers of travelling 350 miles plus in dodgy conditions.
