Why does it state the adresses of the players? Isn't that just inviting obsessed fans to go to the houses? Very stupid IMO

Mate there the same as me and you so why not. They just kick a ball about a bit better than us (well sometimes !)If we were stupid enough to do what they have done we would have our addresses put on there.

Apart from Bradley Orr, any obsession with anybody in the public eye interests me not, just get a grip innit.

Ball sucking's for gays :farmer:

Anybody confirm what exactly all this means for BCFC for me?

Before we condemn our own players, let's not forget that this country's class based toff/snob led legal system is widely regarded as the most corrupt in Western Europe.

Never forget what happened to our own supporters at the hands of the Walsall West Midlands Royalist Gestapo Police the season before last. No toff/snob Crown Prosecution Service lawyer or corrupt West Midlands copper was ever prosecuted for bringing wrongful drink charges against our supporters or for physically assaulting our supporters within the ground.

God save us from the royalist tyranny that is this country's hopelessly corrupt criminal 'justice' system with its corrupt jobsworth Police and toff/snob led Crown Prosecution Service. :w00t:

not really seeing the point of all this bullshot RG... They pleaded guilty... what the hell has that got to do with the legal system or anything else to do with the running of this country?!? They've been accused of causing trouble in public and have admitted it... They deserve to be condemned by anyone who sees fit to condemn them... Just as i would expect to be condemned if i'd done the same as them!!

Don't try and use everything at your disposal to have a dig at the country and the way it's run....save that for the non-footy forum, eh?!? :dunno::dunno::dunno:

Good for you, i sure you are a very nice chap as a result of it !

I would have thought for someone who made such a big deal of CROMWELL you would know where he came from off by heart, and would know if what i had written was correct or not.

I knew he came from the landed gentry from my school days, but given they were 35 years ago i thought i had better check.

Just put "Oliver CROMWELL" into MSN and it will be one of the first sites listed.

Just for your information i work in the justice system, nearly all the people i work with are decent working class people like myself, who are trying to do a very difficult job, and the only thanks they get are silly comments from the likes of you, who clearly know nothing about history, law or politics !

But, it has to be said, you do seem to know a little about football !

As a Bristolian I also know that the dear departed Oliver Cromwell, Thomas Fairfax and the English Republican Army liberated the good citizens of Bristol from a terrible Royalist tyranny in the September of 1645. The women and children of Bristol were found to be half starved and living as wretches when Bristol was liberated from King Charles 'God King' cult. Money was donated by the good Republican people of London to feed and clothe my Bristolian ancestors and to repair the widespread damage the Royalists had caused to Bristol.

As for the criminal justice system in this country, it is a disgrace and is widely regarded as the most class based and corrupt in Western Europe. Listen to the accents of some of the top Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) lawyers, judges and magistrates - they hardly sound 'working class' to me !!!!! Magistrates, judges, Police, CPS lawyers all swear an oath allegiance to their 'God Queen' - the criminal justice system in this country is therefore just another facet to this country's royalist tyranny that I, as an English Repubican, am forced to live under.

So, let me get this straight because I do not have a working class accent and have middle mangement employment, working for the government, I must also fall into your 'toff/snob' category. thank you for enlightening me, at least I know who I am now and that it is based upon my accent and not alot else........................

Red Goblin,

I am sure you are a very nice man, but you really are on the wrong planet !

I would also like to point out that if you actually read some history books you will find that some of the most repressive goverments in history, and those who killed most working class people, were socialist/marxist

as the peoples of Cambodia, Russia and China, to name but three, will testify.

Also the Nazis, who killed thousands of Bristolians with bombing during WW II, described themselves as socialists.

History has proved that the only times working class people prosper is under capitalist/liberal goverment, just like we have at the moment.

And just to make the most obivous point, which is to try and work out how events that happened in 1600 and frozen to death have anything to do with today is behond me !

It is also nice to see that you have accepted my point that CROMWELL was from the landed gentry and was in fact a "toff" himself.

At which point my involvement in this conversation ends, as this is a forum about football, and not history.

Alot of what is to come for these players will be from the contents of the pre-sentence reports.

Although Judges hands are not completely tied the majority will follow the recommendations put

forward by a Probation Officer.

A Conditional Discharge or fine could be the way forward for Scott Brown.

Bradley Orr and Steve Brooker more than likely looking at a community based sentence which

can include unpaid work in the community.

Dave Partridge? More difficult, especially if the previous is a real issue. Still I'd imagine that he's more likely

to be dealt with by a harsher community sentence or a suspended sentence of imprisonment.

If i were a betting man i would say you had the above just about right.

Those German NAZIs were also your German descended Queen's German relatives. :w00t::whistle:

I therefore do not recognize the authority of your royalist court system as those courts have sworn allegiance to a German descended monarch that - even by the toff/snob criteria for a monarch - is not legitimate. :farmer:

i don't mind you having your say on whatever you want, however you want, but unless you have evidence of the direct linkage between the queen's German heritage and those who were active as German Nazis you should be careful.

not for the queen's sake specifically but because it sound like your saying all German people today are implicated in the terrible crimes commited back then, the most extreme of which were by a small and specific group. many German people suffered under the Nazis as well, often because they had specific points and principles they stood up for or opinions that were not the accepted 'norm'. remind you of anyone?

please don't start getting unpleasent like that, it makes this place alot less fun.

Good shout that man. Too right there were royalist links with the NAZI regime, the uncle of the Queen - King Edward - was forced to abdicate for his affair with Mrs Simpson the American divorcee. King Edward was also known to have connections with the NAZI hierarchy.

I'm sorry Madger, I am a regular reader on this forum, but as you can see a very occasional poster, but your post has driven me to reply.

How is it at all possible that speculating on a sentence can be against the law? These 4 have admitted to particular offences, they are guilty, for each offence there is a maximum sentence of up to 3 years. This of course is a massive concern to me, and to all of you, and of course could spell the difference between mediocrity and success this season.

I would not like to speculate on their respective sentences, indeed if it was anything other than football I believe they would have lost their jobs the minute they pleaded guilty, but they are guilty and they deserve what get. I only hope that the sentences they receive are the comparable to what a non semi-famous footballer would get.

I really don't think a crown court judge is going to alter someone's sentence on the basis that they are a third division footballer. Looking at cases you see in the paper's it would seem community based punishment or probation would be normal for a first offence of the type committed but the judge could obviously take a more tougher stance based on his personal opinions and the contents of the pre-sentence reports.

Let me cite the incident where Prince Harry, in a drunken rage, punched a press photographer full on in the face outside a London night club. Had Prince Harry been a BCFC footballer then the Old Bill would not have been protecting him, they would have been arresting him !!!!!! :ranting:

Just another example, if any were needed, that this country's class based and corrupt toff/snob led criminal justice system is a national disgrace. Our Police together with their Crown Prosecution Service puppet masters, judges and magistrates are easily the most corrupt in Western Europe.

I have :D The Russians executed the whole of their Royal family after 1917, the French guillotined their royals about 100 years previous to that and the Germans ostricized their former Kaiser to Holland. The Greeks kicked out their royals and one of them is married to Queen Elizabeth. No major European country, therefore, has a corrupt and class based royalist toff/snob led criminal justice system like ours. :w00t:

agreed, putting the debate to one side i just want to say the players have my

support and good luck to them.

I admire Stevie B and Bradley Orr massively as players (even Scott B has his good days) - but i am not going to forget/gloss over this just because they're useful with a football.

They're thugs - all of them. They pleaded guilty to a drunken pub brawl on a wednesday night - there's no speculation any more - they did it, they said so. They also did it whilst being paid by the club, and a few days away from a game.

I support the team, I support the clubs - but not these individuals.

Of course that had nothing to do with the Republican siege laid around the last Royalist port. As Charles said, legally Cromwell did not have the right to try him at that time even if the system was corrupt. And please answer who took over from Oliver after he 'abdicated' from the postion of? (answers on a postcard please)

Our players have already been fined by the club, they may or may not be punished further by the courts. Let's move on to the real issues that should be of real concern to the law abiding citizens of England.........

Not all thugs seem to get prosecuted these days as was the case with Prince Harry punching a press photographer full on in the face; the West Mercia policeman caught speeding at 159mph who walked free from a corrupt West Mercia court; not one corrupt West Midlands Policeman or Crown Prosecution Service lawyer was prosecuted for the events before, during and after the Walsall game the season before last.

Is there no justice in this royalist tyranny?

Prince Harry the NAZI thug...........

the circumstances on why they were fighting will never be know but you don't kick off and fight

without good reason, these are pro footballers yes but even a saint can be pushed to the limits at times.

now pleading guilty could be done by legal advice (might not what the player wants) but it can be advised

because it will not prolong a case and to get things over and done with in court quicker and the courts do take

a more leanent view if your holding your hands up and saying sorry, to which i belive these boys do mean it.

I would not say they were thugs, trust me the doorman is 5 times the size of scott brown.

They pleaded guilty to a combination of affray, section 4, and ABH. The only reason you are making excuses for them is that they play for Bristol City FC, and are pretty good with a football. If they played for the gas, you'd be condemning them as thugs as well - same if they were just another bunch of chavs out on a wednesday night finding trouble for themselves.

You're automatically making excuses for them ("being pushed to the limits") based on what you see at Ashton Gate every two weeks - but that's not enough for me. I've been out on the lash average twice a week for nigh on 12 years now and have never got myself in serious trouble - and neither have my mates. But then, I'm not a thug...

for you and your mates not getting in to trouble in town fair play to you.

i'm not making automatically making excuses for them based on them playing for city as i condemmed

others for doing the same thing,at what your saying brooks and co have done, this was a one off based on the circumstances.

romeo browns is no ordinary night club it is a r&b / hip hop venue which has a history of fighting

and was named by avon and somerset as being in the top 3 trouble spots in bristol, because of

some of the nature of the music played, lita was glassed in an hip hop club in bristol remember.

now being a pro footballer faced with a chav (your words) who supports the rival team then you will get picked on,

so what do you do let them hit you? thugs? partridge was put in hospital over this??,

i've been a dj in clubs for years and seen the things that goes on so i know both sides of the coin.

till people have seen the cctv we should all reserve judgement.

we'll agree to disagree on this.

but do you feel brooker, orr, brown and partridge should be sacked then?.
