Seems odd to shuffle the defense in such a close game.As commentator said, gives us more height at the back, as Fontaine goes left back and McCombe goes central. Seems strange really.If they were starting to take control of midfield then it makes sense for someone to come on who will win the ball and generally get in the way rather than an attacking minded luxury player who will just be a spectator as Tranmere dominate possession for the last 25 minutes.
