Rowley Birkin
Terry Coopers football was the best I've ever seen at Ashton Gate, with his raiding wingers, and all action approach, superb wheeler dealer, and man of the people. We'd often go one, or even two down, and more often than not come back and win.Big Joe's first spell was excellent too, and I felt we we're on the verge of getting back into the big time when he left.A.D. probably has to take the acclaim though, as to what he actually achieved....although as normal with City it goes tit's up in the end !Mind you it does for 90% of clubs in the end.G.J. has achieved in a relatively short time with promotion, without the team setting the world alight on the pitch.I remember when Jimmy Lumsden was in charge, and to this day I swear I've never seen City so depressing. samo
The guy was so bad that my children will grow up to use 'Tony Pulis' as a curse word.Beating Stoke (twice) would be sweet this year.
