Pederho ll
Yea, lets do it.Sounds really sad, but I was so distraught after the Plymouth match I just sat in my seat for a few minutes thinking the season was over. Didn't help that I had to go home to my wife who's a Plymouth fan and face my father-in-law who is an armchair Plymouth fan and thinks he's the most loyal supporter in the history of football, even though he goes to on average one game a season, (yep, some seasons he never goes). Their just the worse. Finally, big reality check today, we are still joint top, with an unthinkable (at the start of the season) opportunity of getting to arguably the best league in the world. The way things are going a few wins out of the remaining fixtures could see us up. Plus its Cardiff away and its always great to remind them that their not English and how much they really wish that they were. Therefore, getting ticket first thing in the morning, and just like Saturday giving that lads as much support as one human being can give. Now is the time to really raise the support, increase the intensity levels, do everthing possible to make this dream ticket become reality, because if it happened, if we, BCFC, got promote, it would be the best footballing year ever!Come on you reds............ Zider_I_Up_Landlord
I hate the idea of a bubble match, and have said i wont go. I am tempted though. However i don't get paid till Thursday when i would imagine they'd all be gone. Still, can save my money for more drinks in Southampton!!

Robbored
Over the years Cardiff away has been one of my favourite trips but the thought of spending hours on a coach - most of it parked in a lay-by outside Cardiff has dampened my enthusiam. The coaches leave AG at 11.15am and its no more than an hour to Cardiff which means that the coaches should be arriving at about 12.15pm. No way will the police allow 1700 City fans anywhere near NP so early - so the time will be spent sitting in a coach outside the City, surrounded by a poice escourt. Why the coaches can't leave AG about 1pm and take the City fans straight to NP without stopping is a mystery to me. If that were that case then I'm sure the away tickets would have sold out by now.Any way the bottom line is that I won't be going because of the time wasting and hassle. No doubt many other City fans are of the same opinion. Its a real shame. If it wasn't a 'bubble match' I'd definately go. SC&T Board Members Blagdon red Posted March 18, 2008 SC&T Board Members Report Share Posted March 18, 2008 I am also not going. Not because of the hassle, but on principle. I refuse to allow the club / police to infringe my civil liberties in this way. It's a shame, as I miss few away games and would definitely have gone had I been allowed, as a law-abiding citizen, to make my own way to the ground. Admin Maesknoll Red Posted March 18, 2008 Admin Report Share Posted March 18, 2008 I'm another stay away, the 11.15 leaving time is ridiculous, sitting on a coach for hours (unnecessarily) is not my idea of fun.

Being told when, where and how you have to travel is for school children, as for sitting on a coach, well that's a bad enough experience at any time let alone sat outside Cardiff for an hour with the rozzers all over the place

Being told when, where and how you have to travel is for school children, as for sitting on a coach, well that's a bad enough experience at any time let alone sat outside Cardiff for an hour with the rozzers all over the placeI'd imagine it will be a similar situation as with Swansea last season, where they take you somewhere just off the motorway and park up in the park & ride and wait for the police escort into the ground, at least there is some time to get off the coach for a bit.at least with Swansea though there was a decent bar in the ground.been to Cardiff plenty of times over the years and there has pretty much always been trouble and it's got to the case where it is either this, or just NO AWAY FANS, I know which I'd rather prefer. Zider_I_Up_Landlord
I got mine today. Was a last minute decision because i completely disagree with having to go on the coach, and ninnian park is a sh*thole. However it is a bank holiday weekend, and i'll get bored of going to the pub for four days straight, so at least this breaks it up. Will be back in enough time for drinks in the Mardyke after anyway.I've only been on the coaches once before about 8 years ago when i was about 14 (and i remember it being crap!). But whats the laws on drinking? i know your not supposed to take drink on, but how serious is it? anyone going to care if my bottle of coke is diluted with whiskey?ziul
Wales Cidered
Anyone know if you can join the bus in Cardiff still? I live in Wales and damned if I'm going to cross the bridge only to come back here! So its £12 to travel from Cardiff services to...Cardiff City. Nice to see the fans looked after, then. Ive "infiltrated" twice in the past, but I have to say standing in the rain clapping THEM knocking us out the play-offs was the low point of my City-watching career! I even had stones thrown at me when I was there for a Welsh Cup match years ago with those mighty rivals of Cardiff..Aberystwyth Town! They are scum, no two ways about it. Understand why the police say it is coaches only but as said why can't they go at 1pm from the Gate?, if that was the case I'd be there, to and so would most of my mates.
