kmpowell
Considering how graceful in defeat they were at the end of last season, I find this story a bit sad. CLICKY

dezgimed
Not sure how messes like these arent resolved earlier. Simply set up a site or summit whereby fans from each club can donate a pound... That'd raise the cash. Easy eh.

petehinton
don't deserve it after the way they took relegation last year at the gate but in truth they don't have the players OR the stadium to get money!
Pete1975Legend
This is where The Premier League or a team that wishes to have a feeder club needs to act. Having clubs go under is not the way forward. maybe each football fan could give a pound at a game they are at tomorrow to Rotherham United
BITW
So if they don't survive, does another team from blue square/conference come up?
Guest Garfunkle
wont happen. there will be an extension to the deadline and someone will save them. always happens like that

22A
So if they don't survive, does another team from blue square/conference come up? I believe if a club folds, only one will will be relegated and two will still come up.

Redhyde
Having clubs go under is not the way forward. Yes it is. Clubs need to stop spending more than they earn. You can only hope it happens to a Leeds or Cardiff or even better Chelsea or Liverpool to really shake the football world up. 1) They'll get saved more than likely. How many scare stories about Swindon do we see each week? 2) They create AFC rotherham and are back in the league ala Aldershot in 4-5 years. Football isn't sustainable in it's current form. Ideally (not from my view but sensibly) we need to cut it to about 2 professional leagues and the anything below that as feeder clubs.
Fodbarmyarmy
I just thought - This is a warning to all It was only a few seasons ago that Rotherham were in the higher league and we were the lower team asking for players on loan from them (Robins) Just goes to show what can happen if you don't have people with business acumen like SL & CS

Percy Parrot
must say they were great last May. Often a few fans stay behind when a team wins promotion. But a huge amount of them did and especially considering their own relegation it was really good.
22A
They're not dead (yet)! Several offers have been received and will be considered next week. http://www.themillers.premiumtv.co.uk/page...1292992,00.html
bucksred
I feel for Rotherham, after last season, and compare it to dirty Leeds, who seem to charm their way out of trouble everytime, and Barfdiff too.
