 My name is Barnsley . I am a big club and will keep all my players.

:clapping:My name is Bristol City. We are bigger than Barnsley and will take all your players

:thumbsup:My name is Derby. We are bigger than Bristol and will take your best player.

:yawn:My name is any Premiership Club and I'll take whatever I bloody well want from all of you.

And because I have so much money they will just sit on my bench until I choose to move them on for half of what I paid and not care in the slightest.

derby fans suggesting a bid of 1.5 mil! Laughable, considering he will only get better, best striker in the division now gray is in the prem Imo. If he can continue to improve his finishing he is a prem player ability wise. Cant see us selling for under 8 mil.

Didn't we pay more than that a year ago?

Why would we sell our top scorer, who's still under contract, for less than we paid for him 11 months ago?

Wouldnt let him go for anything less than 12m

Some people might laugh at this, but he's only going to get better, as we found last season no one want's to sign for us (Gray, Gayle etc) and we have to pay Angers a percentage of any profit, so it's a yes from me for 12m:yes:

Then we have nothing to worry about do we.

Nothing to worry about if he stays or goes. He's only a player I've seen many come and go through the revolving AG door. I never get attached to any of our players anymore

Derby fans are shot away if they think blackman and a couple of million will get kodjia.

How about we buy their best player whoever the hell it is for 4 million

How about Jacob Butterfield?  Ex-Barnsley

Stating the obvious. City need at least 2 good forwards next season. Ideally JK and ANO. If JK goes City need to sign two players, ideally both capable of scoring approx 20 goals per season. It's difficult to get one player who could do that, so a JK bid would have to be mega bucks to make it acceptable

DCFC To test city with bid for jimmy

We'll pass with flying colours. If they're bidding £4m they aren't sincere in buying him.

Seriously, £4 million has probably managed to offend Mark Ashton and Steve Lansdown. Looking at over double that.

I hope probably can be substituted for certainly. An offer in that amount doesnt even warrant a response.

Get real Derby - we`re not likely to sell him for less than we paid after he got 20 last season. Delusions of grandeur methinks, someone needs to tell them they`re not famous any more.

Any chance we could stop quoting one misguided Derby supporter as if he is representative of the views of the entire fan base?

The rest of that Derby thread is refreshingly honest and realistic - they recognise it will take a lot more, and that we don't need to sell. I was quite impressed with their comments actually.

7 million and thank you very much .

With France being a socialist banana republic on the verge of another Robespierre revolt i would say that is about what we paid for him in French inflation terms; we can quote Euros can we not?

In all seriousness though it has to be at least 15 million otherwise what is the point? You cannot put a value on the year he has just had and how disruptive it would be if he were to leave now hence a price tag nobody will pay unless you breed Chickens.
