  1. This reminds me of the Liv Everton game no goals but very watchable.
  2. Then why answer another poster with a sarcastic, must be your age mate?
  3. And to think at one point it looked like he might be off, can't see that happening now, I feel finally we are seeing the player we all thought we had signed it helps he is actually starting games long may it continue; he even had his own little song last night the fans are really starting to warm to him.
  4. I never said it always happens; I said very few there is a difference.
  5. Yes it's at least double the original estimate, which is why the current estimate of the cost of the Portishead line should be ignored as it will almost certainly be at least double by 2026. And very few large projects ever come in on budget, can you name me one?
  6. With inflation touted to hit 20% next year and no end in sight to the end of the war in Ukraine pushing up fuel and transport costs I am afraid I have to agree, can you imagine what the final cost will be by 2026 rarely has any largescale project in this country ever come in on anything approaching the original budget, I give you HS2!
  7. I was looking at the Championship table tonight after the games and literally did a doubletake I thought there had been a printing error until I checked their results.
  8. After 6 games has any team ever only scored ONE goal and conceded NONE? remarkable.
  9. There are many definitions of better, at what? banging the ball up as far as they can and hoping something falls? because they were definitely better than us at that from what I saw.
  10. I hope they are as well, what would be the point otherwise unless they are just happy to take a wage, we need players with ambition I'm tired of the club employing journeymen who realise if we do go up they are not good enough and would consequently be making themselves redundant.
  11. A lot to be said for parental influence, I still think sentimentality has played at least some part in their enduring place in the global hearts though I realise that's hard to quantify after such a long time, would they have been so globally admired and supported had it not it happened? I don't know.
  12. Mid table that's what we should be aiming for, really, well for you maybe, me? I hope the management and players have got a little more ambition, sorry if that sounds a little too optimistic but with the players I think we have and their possible improvement I hope their ambitions are a little higher than that.
  13. Rather they didn't we know how that usually ends.
