  1. Dear me what a sad sack you are. the only man who can liven up a party just by leaving it.
  2. Better off on Hesgoal.com sports news. no unending links to help in self manipulation .
  3. Incredible to think a team we outplayed from start to finish, and even who's manager admitted we were the better side have just thrashed the league leaders 5-2! the Championship is one strange league which is why I fully expect us to not only win today but next Sat as well.
  4. I reckon it would probably have taken your head clean off .
  5. I was in the ground that day when Jimmy Mann scored that goal along with the other 60,000 who seem to have all been there as well: laugh it was an amazing strike though a real one in a million.
  6. It's on BBC2 and I player kick off at 19-55.
  7. For anyone too young to know who he is go onto You tube and google his name and watch one of the greatest ever FA cup goals, he played for Hereford utd and they were playing Newcastle in the 3rd round in 1972 he sadly passed away today but leaves an indelible mark on FA cup history RIP Ronnie and thanks for the memory.
  8. Should I agree, but on the whole, they are not, we look to be slipping inexorably down the table, after tonight's performance we are either the unluckiest team in the division or are doing something wrong for it to be going on so long. I thought we looked good for most of tonight's performance and I'm sure a lot of neutrals also wondered how we lost that game as well, but it happens far too often doesn't it.
  9. Your right we did, but how many more times do we have to endure a game we easily dominated but got nothing. I reckon the ratio is about ten games we don't get our just desserts to occasionally holding our hands up and saying ah well we got lucky there it's baffling the law of averages is definitely not our friend.
  10. This is a common theme though, and the only common denominator is the person that picks the team and decides on the tactics, yes we have been yet again unlucky with injuries in defence coming into the game, and decisions by the officials, but at some stage we all have to accept after more than 18 months we are all still saying the same thing time and again. I watched the game tonight and can't for the life of me understand how we lost would another manager make any difference Who knows but there are worse teams than us in the top six based on that performance Sheffield Utd amongst them.
  11. Had a quick look where does it list any actual work done on any infrastructure?
  12. Not any more luckily, look I know it is a nightmare but I'm just not sure unless they are going to stop at convenient places that many people would use it, of course there are people that work at Temple Meads my wife did and it will be great for tourists as well which might be the best way to sell the whole project out of the usual commuting times I see it as being underused I think my idea of picking up the train at just off the Portbury hundred at say Gordano might be another option and would halve the cost of the entire project.
  13. £25m on what? a load of meetings proposals hot air I have been along the entire line from pill to Portishead not one thing has been done nothing, they should build a park and ride at Portbury and pick up the line there it would save at least half the budget and yes I am not keen on the whole idea as I see it for the white elephant it will become with trains running half empty at best most of the day.
  14. From where I'm standing (living) apart from clearing a few brambles and a lot of meetings and talks and having had a good look along the proposed line myself then you are right nothing much has been done at all, it's all pie in the sky, the cost is escalating by the day and more and more people are working from home and now the bus fares have come down to more affordable levels in my humble opinion the project is dead in the water as should HS2 be as well as that will turn out to be the biggest white elephant since the Brabazon.
  15. I think it would be fair to say you are the only person in the entire crowd that thinks that, some MAY have chosen to remain in the Ateo after the final whistle but the majority were swarming all over the roads and park by the time I left a few minutes after the game finished, as I said to you in my earlier post stop digging because at this rate you'll be enjoying a fosters on Bondi beach by midday.
  16. Derby?? how many pints of Natch have you had ?
  17. When you look at the table the way results when it was definitely a point gained and would have felt even more like that had we been the ones coming from one nil down.
  18. Well, you saw and as I expected the Swansea fans were allowed out at the same time as us and what a stupid thing that turned out to be.
  19. When we lose, I just fast forward our game can't let one result stop you watching some great games just let it go and carry on as the saying goes.
  20. When have we ever done what was expected, so far LWLWL? which BCFC will we all see tomorrow?
  21. What I can never understand is why they show the most exciting and best standard of football first (the Championship) then progressively show a worse standard finally finishing the show with League two, I mean to me that makes no sense at all, we all know a match that ends 0-0 will be the last game on match of the day.
  22. Rovers have never beaten Weds at Hillsborough in their entire history.
