  1. Madness isn't it, I'm not sure if they don't run on Boxing day usually or it's just this year, but yes it does seem a bit daft.
  2. It states only the Airport flyers will be operating that day, so daft as it seems it looks like they won't be I'm afraid I have checked both Bris and the Portway and they are definitely not running on Boxing day.
  3. As per title I have just received an E mail from First bus telling me there are no buses on Monday 26th (Boxing day) so getting to our game could be a bit tricky.
  4. That's apart from it being -1 .
  5. So did I once we lost 5-1I haven't felt like repeating the experience though I envy those that were there the day we got battered for 93 minutes and won 1-0 with the last kick of the game, our only win against them since 2009.
  6. Looks to be almost British weather forecast in Doha for Saturdays game, hopefully a good omen
  7. Think they should change their name to Portugoal!
  8. He soured his legacy at Man U and now it looks like he's doing the same with the national side a spoiled brat.
  9. Turning Japanese I think their turning Japanese I really think so .
  10. These commentators are getting on my nerves practically spontaneously combusting every time Spain look like they have a chance to score.
  11. Put it this way apart from their first game I don't think England would lose any sleep at the thought of playing Spain, Brazil on the other hand.
  12. Yes I think it is I just didn't want any confusion about what time we kick off, though the way social media works these days I doubt there is much chance of that, you have to remember I'm old enough to remember the days of the Green Un .
  13. Vindaloo, we'll score one more than you is what i think it will come down to.
  14. It does seem at the moment the way things have gone so far with results we could have a Leicester city type scenario.
  15. Can you say Senegal look really good tomorrow night .
  16. Suarez's misery at full time is one of the happiest moments of this entire world cup for me, revenge is a dish best served cold after his handball in the 120th minute 2010 WC that denied Ghana a place in the last four.
  17. That's going to be a lot of stops for recharging, that is the thing that at the moment really puts me off EVs that and the amount you could end up spending on food and coffees in places whilst you wait an hour to recharge, a lot to be said for popping in the petrol station 4 mins later on your way, my car does at least 60mpg on a run and in theory I could do Bristol to Aberdeen easily on one tankful (not that I would ever be able to do that without many comfort stops at my age ).
  18. With the sale of new ICE cars being stopped after 2030 and now older cars being charged to drive in towns it is really beginning to look like the government are trying to price a large percentage of the population off the roads. I mean how is the average man or woman going to come up with the money to buy an electric car I know there will be second hand ones available by then but have you seen the price of replacement batteries? the sort of cars working class people will be able to afford the batteries will be coming to the end of there useful life.
  19. He's either doing it just because he really loves to play or he is skint. I was watching the big match revisited the other day and was surprised to see players playing in second and even third division matches that had once been very famous top flight internationals like Nobby Stiles and Bobby Charlton who were playing for Preston who were then in the old third division, nowadays players even in the Championship are payed so much that unless they are daft with money they don't have to drop down the divisions as they get older and if they do on the rare occasion it's because of their love of the game not because they have to, another thing players in the 60s and 70s did when they finished playing was open a sports shop, can you imagine that happening today?
  20. Diesel I presume as petrol cars that age are exempt. If so why not just part exchange it or sell it and buy a petrol car of similar value I mean a car from 2006/ 2010 shouldn't cost too much then you can drive around and not have to pay the charge.
