  1. Surely it would look better in a royal blue rather than cyan?
  2. I do like Ibra's arrogance because he does it in a funny way, especially with lots of him comments in press conferences; "Zlatan doesn't do auditions" "You think I'm gay? Come round to my house tonight and see if I'm gay. Bring your sister too" "If anything, the children of Paris should be giving me even more money for having the privilege of being in the same city as my incredible quality. And so should David Beckham. Call it a Zlaritable donation" "Do you know what I love about hunting? That I am no one in the woods, no one at all. I thought the animals might recognize me, but they didn't. They did not even ask me for any autographs."
  3. A bit in the future, but I see Red Bull have announced they will be developing and building their own engines aiming for the 2026 seasons.
  4. I quite enjoyed the car launch, Ricciardo and Norris should be a good laugh. This is an interesting video regarding the technical changed to the car yesterday and how it may bring all the cars a bit closer together. It comes across as Mercedes don't seem quite as confident with how much better they'll be, so hopefully it won't be much!
  5. I think you need to look up the definition of joke.
  6. You should. You just need to balance it off with looking at other clubs who have had success with new owners, both on and off the field. Man City, Leicester, Brighton, Brentford to an extent. That's the only ones I'd class as having true success on and off the pitch in terms of playing and infrastructure. Man City is an extreme example too as they were essentially bought by a country... There's teams that have benefitted on the playing side only (as far as I'm aware) - Cardiff, Watford, Swansea, Villa, Bournemouth, Wolves. The flip-side is Portsmouth, Derby, Sheff Wed, Birmingham, Forest, Coventry, Sunderland, Hull, Charlton, Ipswich, Wigan, Bolton. Teams who can't/couldn't pay players, fire-sale of players, points deductions, administration, tumbling down the leagues. I believe SL has focussed on the infrastructure side first, and once this is done (is the training ground the last piece?) then only has the playing side to focus on. He hasn't 'neglected' the squad, still spending on wages and transfer fees, but I think that is to keep us constant in the championship so we are in a. good position to push. On the balance of probability (and our luck) we'd be taken over by someone who would see us go backwards rather than forwards. I don't fancy risking the future of the club for a season or two in the prem and then 25 years trying to recover.
  7. Yeah that annoys me. Simon just said "we'll have to apologise for that", but it was very obvious he'd just said it. Half the football commentators say it and I've not even heard what they are apologising for. If it was really loud into a microphone I could understand it, but who are the people who have complained about bad language in the background of a football match? Has there ever been a complaint? I used to work in a complaints department for a car manufacturer, and someone actually took the time to call us, lodge a complaint (which probably took them 30 mins) to complain that they saw a cleaner in the showroom heading towards the toilets with a clean toilet brush to replace an old one. That was it.
  8. Seeing it live, I thought he was ok cos I’d seen the back end of the car away from the fire, but the angle we were watching from you couldn’t see the front was in the barrier on fire, so it was a lot worse than I thought it would be.
  9. I think that's really interesting and he's got a bit of character it's at least watchable. I like seeing their travel and hotel arrangements + away dressing room and the shouts on the pitch.
  10. Don’t read the Cardiff City forum... Many on there are celebrating not having to pay with thumbs up emojis and laughter...
  11. Where has this come from that you are some sort of sexual deviant?
  12. Is he playing left back? The way I read the team sheet we've gone 3-5-2?
  13. 3-3 with a team who have spent about £40 million? Have a day off. I notice you didn't post anything when we were leading (however short it was for) but straight away when we concede your talking nonsense as usual.
  14. What was fishy was the ref got taken off for an 'injury' to be replaced by someone who within 2 minutes sent off a Northampton player...
  15. I think he was confused between a museum and a trophy room!
  16. Because they are our rival club based in the same city? If this is successful it will directly affect our club. If not, a lot of City fans can give it back to many friends, family and work colleagues who are Rovers fans? Surely you must be able to see why as Bristol City fans we are talking about Bristol Rovers takeover rather than Accringtons?
  17. Haha don't say that! I presumed my Radio Bristol is slightly behind so was expecting us to score in the following 30 seconds and we didn't!
  18. Legal Tour De Frances. He has technically still won them, but juiced up to the eyeballs.
  19. Against the better teams away from home I can see us getting results ala Middlesborough. They will (hopefully) underestimate us and we do have good players to get wins at these sorts of places. It will be the lower to mid-table teams where we think we have a chance that we may struggle in my opinion.
  20. I think if its a quickly taken one and the two players can create a better angle for a cross, but generally I agree with you.
