  1. I've just taken City to a 9th straight Prem title and 4 Champions Leagues in 6 years on FM21. It's not until the late 2050s that we become good!
  2. I don't think the spectators of the olympics had been on the lash for the previous 6 hours...
  3. Are you using the app or on safari? on the app I don’t think you can copy the link, on safari you can copy and paste the url EDIT: actually if you click share on the app there is an option to copy link
  4. It was some TV one the commentator said. It was either 38 years or 63 years, but I can’t remember so went for the more conservative one!
  5. Only just. Both teams did their best to not win it! Most FG attempts missed in 30 years was it?
  6. Not really, Beckham played 5 games for Preston. Tammy played 41 and scored 23 in the league in a season we would/could have gone down without his goals. DB had little to no impact on Prestons season, Tammy had a huge impact on ours.
  7. Why would a country/state want to own a football club anyway? Let alone one 4000 miles away.

    Snus?

Why is it so popular with baseball? It still seems to be a thing!
  9. No, I don't know him, but my first thought wasn't HAHA he's fat. I agree with your 2nd point. Just that potentially it could be his mental state that lets him down rather than being a scumbag. It wasn't you that made those comments so have removed them from my post as was not correct to your post.
  10. Calm down. I don't know Tomlin, don't watch him train, or know the insides of his mind so am using common sense to come up with a possible reason as to why he is unable to maintain the physical condition he can get himself into on a few occasions rather than calling him a fat, waste of space scumbag. I stand by this statement - "some players just cannot achieve physical conditions as everyone else due to their genetic make up". It could be that when he moves to a new club or feels the threat of losing his current contract his mental state improves and he's able to get into better shape. Gets the new contract and that 'fear' is gone and he slumps back. Doesn't make him a scumbag or deserving 4 pages of pie puns. Almost everyone would do the same in their own job.
  11. And some players just cannot achieve physical conditions as everyone else due to their genetic make up. Maybe he knows this which therefore affects his motivation. He maybe arrogant and cocky, but it doesn't warrant 4 pages of being called fat, a scumbag (!) and a ****. Not sure which word the **** but I presume it wasn't overly nice.
  12. Theres a lot of middle aged men obviously in peak physical condition on here making fun of someones weight who, lets face it is going to be in better shape than 99.9% of you.
  13. I was talking to a work colleague about this today as he has been to every Watford home game this season and he said he’s not surprised. While 7 points in 7 games is a solid start, the team has no plan or tactical idea of what to do and if they go a goal down it’s panic stations. They rely so heavily on Sarr but teams just stick two on him and then it’s down to Josh King and one or two others to break down a prem defence. All the Watford owners have done is say to a manager you get 15 games. Improve us or you’re out. If they do well, they get another 15 games or to the end of the season. Why would they give a manager 3 years if they get them relegated? It’s a plan that could blow up in their face, but if they keep ticking over they may eventually find a manager that pushes them to the next level.
  14. I wasn't comparing Adomahs and Jackis work rate or value to the team, but the fact that they would get you off your seat when they had the ball because they had special ability to beat a man or do some skill that you would talk about down the pub that evening.
  15. The same reason why people remember players like Emmanuel-Thomas, Adomah, Trundle, etc with fond memories. Being a club that sits between the 2nd and 3rd division we mostly have players with no magic quality that can get you off your seat or do something that you'd go into school or work the next day and talk about. For every maverick we've had, we've had 15 players who just run about and 30 players that can hardly kick the ball straight. Not sure why it's too hard to understand but the majority of your 38,000 posts have been pretty awful so I guess it's possible. Say the first part of his last name.
  16. The last few games especially, we've been able to put some passing moves together and actually look like we could pass round a team into an attacking move. Not all game like Fulham can, but enough to have a threat. Makes our counter attacks twice as dangerous if the passes actually go to our team.
  17. I think the issues he uses his platform for is the reason a lot of people don’t like him unfortunately. I don’t really find him arrogant at all. He’s a top tier sportsman, he wants to win and expects everything at a certain level of performance and if it isn’t he’ll question why it isn’t. He normally says it quite calmly over the team radio, and even if let down by the team at a pit stop say, he’s pretty calm and tries to use it as motivation. After every race he thanks the crowd even if he gets booed by fans, or monkey chants in the early days at Monza. He’s always gracious to other competitors, even after the race just gone he said Max must have had a hell of a race, ‘commiserated’ for Lando after what he saw and is always on social media supporting other drivers such as Russell when he crashed. Im sure there has been a few occasions where he has acted out of line or said something that comes across negative to his character but I think LH gets a harsh wrap from a lot of people for not any real reason. His dress sense is very odd though so I’ll give them that.
  18. That is what's a big Improvement from last season for me. Last season I was celebrating a shot on target as we only ever managed 1 or 2. This season, although we're not exactly peppering the opposition goal or dominating play, we are creating chances.
  19. I mean you could look at the point that personal issues caused by betting on sport is a lot higher than personal issues caused by alcohol in sport. I doubt there's many people who turn to severe drink over their team losing.
  20. According we are the best away team over the last two seasons in the Championship, that does seem. bit of an odd home banker. Although maybe that's to entice people to bet who don't know about our away record?

    Vyner

I thought Vyner had a good defensive display yesterday, but his crosses are from too deep, and Martin can't win a header so it's always cleared. I'd like to see Zac power down the line as he does have pace and reasonable ball skill. Get closer to the byline and whip a few balls in knee high.
