  1. They are doing shuttles and he is not meant to go until the person in front of him has done his and the coach blows the whistle? He’s’ not supposed to be moving. Also, hands on the hips opens the chest and pulls your shoulders back meaning you can take a deeper breath when recovering. So apart from stating he’s not there when he is and that’s he’s not moving when he’s not meant to be, what other incorrect assumption can you make?
  2. I met him at an award ceremony after a work football event at Man City's training ground and yes the two points above are 100% true. Im 5'11" and felt like I was towering over him however his calves were also the size of me. He was quite shy, especially when he had 4 teams of girls gushing over him!
  3. Aren't there penguins in/on the Galápagos Islands? That's a little bit closer to the North Pole.

Isn't it Sports Personality Of The Year rather than Sports Achievement Of The Year? Shouldn't it be about them as a person rather than winning?
  5. Still on FM21, but just won my 16th straight Premier League title with City. A nice contrast to real life!
  6. Paddy Power did one of their "Justice payouts" for people who did single bets on Max and Lewis to win the race and also to become World Champion.
  7. I get you hate Hamilton and it’s cool, but that’s not what this discussion about whether you think he doesn’t deserve to win or Max did, it’s the way the race ended that’s the controversy.
  8. To be fair, he’s wound you up something rotten ?
  9. In football the best teams nearly always win. In 100m final the fastest always win. In long jump the person who can jump the furthest wins. Why do we need to watch any sport?
  10. Come on mate, you can see we're all trying to have a discussion about the decision by the FIA & Masi about why a new rule seemed to be created mid race which heavily favoured Red Bull & Max. This is the first season in a long time that 2 different constructors have been able to challenge for the title so closely. Either of the drivers could have won it and either would have deserved it. The issue is, now one of the best F1 seasons will be remembered for the wrong reasons. Try to join in with the debate. You might learn a few things about F1.
  11. I don't think it was a red flag scenario. The track stewards cleared Latifi's care pretty quickly. Virtual safety car and then a full safety car was probably the right call. I agree pitting under the safety car should be limited to potentially safety/damage items only. This might be tough to police though as teams may start claiming their tyres were going to pop. They can't go slower under the safety car. As it is, their tyres and brakes cool so much that it could potentially be dangerous if they are to start up full race speed go into the first corner and their brakes don't work.
  12. No one has said Max has done anything wrong? It's the FIA. Your views towards Mercedes and Hamilton are a little weird to be honest.
  13. I can understand not wanting Lewis to win because he's won 7 in a row and it can get stale, or perhaps because of his extra-curricular activities, but I don't think you can say he blames others? Did you watch the interviews with Button after the race? And see him on the podium? And did you see Max last week on the podium?
  14. Which I think Masi should be able to do for safety reasons or concerns but not in order to try and create a race.
  15. I'm not sure I'd want the decision to be changed from now. I'd prefer it if they learnt from the experience and tightened up the rules. I also think there should be 2-3 assistant race directors who take the DPs calls from the main race director and shield them from potential influence like what we saw with Horner and Woolf.
  16. I thought he sounded like he didn't have any control. Christian Horner politely I thought asked what was going on with the cars in between and Masi was all "Christian if you let me finish"...
  17. As per my previous post, they either let all the lapped cars through or they let none of them through. It would depend how quickly they could get all the other cars passed the safety car whether they could have the last lap as a racing lap but if the couldn't so be it, at least the rules were followed. Michael Masi has gone from conforming to the rules by saying no cars can overtake the safety car, to then 'inventing' a rule to allow the 5 cars between them to go passed (but no more?) in order to have a racing last lap. They should have only done that if it was equal i.e. they were on tyres of a similar age, otherwise you automatically hand Red Bull a huge advantage.
  18. But thats not the rules, thats what people are finding it difficult to accept. The rule is either no cars are unlapped, or all cars are unlapped. Then the stewards/director can decide if they let them catch up to the back or not. Not to remove the cars in between because that gives Red Bull the advantage. If Hamilton AND Max were on fresh tyres, then it is a fair decision.
  19. Not really got much to do with this though. The issue is the FIA should have either let ALL lapped cars through or none. Not the 5 in-between Hamilton and Verstappen so they could have a race on the last lap. Just doesn't sit right with me and a shame the season had to finish under such controversial circumstances. There's lot of people (including a few in this thread) saying it was the first race they've watched in X number of years and won't again because of the ending. That's what this race will be remembered for. As a side note, I was impressed at how magnanimous Hamilton was after the race. Obviously disappointed, but still did interviews, congratulated Max and stayed on the podium sprayed him with champagne and congratulated Max and Horner. Where was Max on the podium at Jeddah? He ran off out the back immediately the national anthems were gone. Seems strange that the 'Hamilton haters' won't bring this up...
  20. Yeah, but they got some foundations up within a few weeks...
  21. I don’t mind which of them wins as long as there’s a lot of good wheel to wheel racing and it’s won by the better driver on the day rather than by a stewards penalty.
  22. Perez won't. Red Bull realistically need a 1st and 2nd in order to win the Constructors Championship. If Perez takes out Hamilton, Red Bull can only get 26 points and they are 28 points behind.
