Dogbert
So just 3 runs in it after first innings. Not sure I can watch the start of the Somerset innings as feel a typical collapse could be coming up.

The way the pitch has livened up though, I don't think we will want to be chasing more than 200.

Port Said Red
153 to win then for Glos. I think it will take 6 or 7 wickets to do it though. Edited April 17, 2021 by Port Said Red

Losing Dent before the close was a blow but there’s enough batting to get us over the line. Fingers crossed. Either way, it’s been a great game between two evenly-matched sides. Who’d have thought that of us three years ago?

Fordy62
Just popped on here to see if there’s much going on... anything I should know about? eg; if there were to be a crushing away win, I’d probably like to be told about it. Or maybe even if there were a tiny budgeted club with a 100% championship record, you know, that sort of thing. Port Said Red
Even more impressive start to the season by Glos when you look at how Surrey are performing against Leicestershire, I thought we made them look like a poor side.
PHILINFRANCE
Unfortunately, Somerset's batting is, once again, a weak point in their Championship aspersions, but Well Done to Glos and, especially, to James Bracey, who appeared to be the main difference between the two sides.
Lrrr
Fair play Glos, Bracey seemed very impressive, wonder if England may start blooding him as the test replacement for a couple of years time. As for Somerset we really need to sort our batting out, I think Lammonby may drop out for Byrom and wouldn't be surprised to see Abell go back up to open. Someone like Braithwaite would have been ideal for us.

cidercity1987
Well that was an easier morning than I was expecting. Bracey did well again, I haven't understood the hype and England selection until now but he is looking promising this season. Shame he's a gashead

ralphindevon
Well played Glos, deserved victory. First home defeat since June 2017. Every run comes to an end eventually.........even City will win at home again one day
tin
Belting win for us, the first in 28 years vs Somerset in the Championship apparently, and special stuff from Bracey. Our bowlers deserve great credit too for setting it up. Fantastic start to the season. Go Glos.
