Not sure what's funnier, that they've only sold 3,000 season tickets despite being on the verge of back to back promotions, or it's their highest season ticket sales in 16 years..

Not to mention the fact that there are still 700 tickets available for their derby game on Saturday, where they will be hoping to get back in to the promotion spots. If they can't sell out for that game... :tumbleweed:

We sold 4000 in one day 2 weeks ago!!

Looking at that as well, early bird prices stop tomorrow. They currently charge £410 for a ST in their West Stand (more than my ST in The Dolman) If they **** up promotion, they could be charging £450+ for s ST to watch basement football.

Haven't they also frozen prices?

Meaning they are already charging that for basement football.

Which actually does make their sales quite impressive. Fair play to those willing to shell out that sort of money for what they get in return.

Bloody hell over 3k for potential consecutive promotions we should be looking over our shoulder....:rofl2br:

No need to look over our shoulder,we'll hear the tiny patter of blue Adidas trainers stuggling to catch up with us.

Am I the only City fan who actually feels physically sick when faced with the name of Bristol Rovers? (almost threw up just typing that)

Why oh why didn't SL just buy them out a few years ago and shut them down, or simply move them to Milton Keynes?

MK Dons and MK rovers would be a match made in heaven...

If he was serious about it, he could've fronted someone else the money, hired some puppet to run the club and bring it to its knees...

oh wait, perhaps he tried that with Higgs.

So the evening post and rovers get excited for selling 3000 rising to 5000 hopefully. Which is pathetic in my eyes but to them is ambition. #makingbristolprowed

Come on lads, Rome wasn't built in a day!! Or Barcelona!

I can hear them on Saturday now, apeing that Spurs chant at Stoke, "Bristol City - we're coming for you"
