Never to the dark side
Okay we will be home on saturday 3rd August due to the baloon festival the following weekend we could be playing on the 2nd or even the 4th of August if we are on the telly as there are no premiership games blank dates due to international break 7 september 12 october and 16 november Christmas/new year saturday 21 December will be a normal weekend boxing day is on THURSDAY,not really fussy whether its home or away nine teams will be no more than 130 miles travelling distance with five teams to play mid week at home and five teams to play away I don't want the likes of Boro Preston Leeds Wigan Blackburn Barnsley Luton and Hull to be mid week games
WarksRobin
As long as we have the same number of home games as away games, I’ll be happy.

The way we have played at home this season, I would like more away games than home games. And not a newly promoted side on 3rd August please. WhistleHappy
Football & Rugby 'specials' to & from Parson St railway station on matchdays. ( + Ashton Gate special events eg: tonight's concert etc) Would be good for a start... (eventually to be extended to Ashton Gate 'halt' hopefully)

( + Ashton Gate special events eg: tonight's concert etc) @WhistleHappy There is a meeting with GWR tonight, where I have submitted a discussion point around just this, given lots of examples of increased numbers at the ground, and using information @Never to the dark side has provided on another forum have clear indications of how demand for the service is increasing Now just have to see whether they listen? PS There are "specials" for all the concerts this summer, starting tonight

Davefevs
@Never to the dark side When is the EFL Cup 1st round? Between Games 1and2, or 2and3? Thinking of Semenyo’s suspension, and whether first game he’d be available for is a league or cup game? Stupid to be thinking if things like that, but that’s me! RoystonFoote'snephew
Ideally we wouldn’t have to travel north of Nottingham for a midweek fixture. However, I fully expect Preston away to be the traditional Tuesday night and the number of games in Yorkshire and the north east makes it likely at least one will be midweek. Never to the dark side
Cider_boy The 72 EFL clubs did vote on the long distance fixtures as regards to mid week fixtures That suits the 1st and 2nd divisions It does not suit the Championship clubs Would you consider travelling to the Birmingham area for a mid week as opposed to travelling to Middlesbrough for a mid week game?
