I didn’t realise people were still selling from that long ago.

I seem to have my elder brothers album from 1968/69 which only has 2 missing. George Johnston of Arsenal No. 6 and Denis Law Utd No. 162.

I’ve found George, who I can’t even remember, now I’m searching for the much more famous Law.

Just be careful as some people sell versions cut out from an album (no sticky back)

  2. 'It takes a Wael' has said nothing, apart from getting a new tent at the Mem! A 3.5k seater tent mind.

Says their training ground is Championship standard, because they let teams train there before they play us and they keep telling him it's great.

FFS, A Gas Head messaged in, asking if they could have somewhere to lay Poppies at the new Stadium.

It's desperate even by Gas standards. Nothing has been bought by anyone.

£450k for a 1 year option to explore planning permission for a number of different possible developments with no obligation to acquire the land.

Even Gas say conditional contract. EP having a stormer by reporting investors bought land while linking to press release which says they haven't.

So they want planning permission for a number of options or they're buying nothing, just first option.

wow, 2.5 years just to get to that point.

A Company that is not BRFC buys land, so they think they are a tiny bit closer to a new stadium. In other news, man buys lottery ticket and is a tiny bit closer to winning the lottery.

Nothing to get excited about, look at Ashton Vale. I guess it's more of an advert for Wael to offload the club to potential buyers.... just like he went in when thought the Sainsbury's stadium was happening. Planning then the actual work starting is when they can start creaming themselves.

Makes me laugh. I'm sorry but I don't give a rats about women's football (I know, not very inclusive of me, but i just can't fake interest in something that I don't care about). As it's being played at the Gate I thought I'd look at the BBC site to see what they had to say (sellout etc.)

Now, normally you can't move for the women's game on the Beeb site.............but, apparently not today ! Hardly a scintilla about the match, and even less where it is being played !

    Unbelievable, Geoff .

I went to the BBC looking also, there is a bit in the link below, was not easy to find... Bet it would have featured much more prominent on the main pages if the game was on BBC tonight though ?

Ashton will blame McKenna, sack him and then start another “rigorous process”…..when will club owners see him for what he really is……a fraud?

Sack him, spend 5 weeks pretending to be vigorously working hard, then appoint his assistant who will be under the cosh from day one. #groundhogday

Oh and another near neighbour does attend semi regularly, though he's an exiled Palace fan, content to just take in a local game while watching proper football on Sky.

Sounds like someone I know of, JA?

Now I'm not writing anyone off after two appearances as sub after we've won, but Cornick is obviously coming on ahead of Weimann - who has shown he is very assured on the ball and a calm finisher, I know everyone misses chances, but in my opinion Cornick should have done much better late on.

But, more worringly, was I imagining it, or was Cornick really blowing by the 90th minute?

A Luton friend of mine said to me when we signed him "He's not good 1v1 in front of goal situations, but will score goals from nothing'
