Sticking my neck out for a draw. The away following enough to rouse a good 0-1 first half performance but tiredness, lack of confidence and no substitutions or change of tactics let Reading back in second half with a late equaliser. Many will say 1-1 is a good away point but if we want to stay up we need to win these.
Hope I'm wrong and we batter them obviously!!!

Now or never to go as need to give new guy the whole window. If SL sticks with him fair play but he'll have to live with that decision
-
Because we did NOT set up in a 5-3-2 formation for one and, secondly, we did not counter them; we set up as we always do.
5-3-2 is accurate as we play with wing backs not wide midfielders. Your second point: Meh, who cares?
-
This is a classic piece of shite reporting:-
"Set up in a 5-3-2 formation to counter Cardiff's rigid 4-4-2, Bristol City looked to stretch the game at every opportunity."
I just want to print the name of the tit who wrote it:- Dafydd Pritchard
why??
i thought joe b looked poor compared to his usual standard. Tentative going forward and got done a bit by no one and then amoebic. But not too worried as we know he'll come good again.

Any keen type want to work out how many collective minutes our subs have had on average this season compared to an 'average' team? And compare that to late goals conceded. Bet we're below average in the former and above average in the latter

Love kodjia. Class
-
Jesus wept. Terrible defending. Lucky lucky
-
Not our day lads...
-
We look tired - needs freshening up Cotts! Cox? Reid? Anything???
-
Kodjia is playing target man and fox in the box at the same time

I am really impressed with Bennetts crossing. Very high class.
agree but at times is a little slow getting the final ball in
-
So need Cox on for Wilbs... Cardiff bringing on Ameobi for Noone.
So they have 12 players?!

Stuck in a client meeting all afternoon so have only been keeping one eye on livescore.com
Can someone please summarise the game to date?
Ta.
we're creating a few chances and not taking them. The type of game we'll lose 1-0 in extra time. We're the better team mind
-
I've never ever been confident watching Fielding. A good shot stopper but looks so nervy at times. Especially under the high ball
-
Hamstring. Wilbs has spent more time in his backside than doing anything useful. Time for him to be used as an impact player last 15 mins...

Fully expect a late equaliser or total capitulation. However, can't help but think if we get a win today it could be the turning point
hate to be proven right but the team this season always look like they'll concede a silly one

Just lifted this from the sag forum which was posted on Aug 15th:
Kaiser, you make some fair comments.
With regards to the Mansfield match - of which I was there (unfortunately) - I can confirm that there were several City fans in with the Mansfield fans. I knew that right from the first half when there was a small section of say 30 of them going completely mental. I was also outside the Wellington pub when 3 of the City fans that were in the away end were personally escorted to their car by the police - I haven't forgotten their poorly disguised smirks.
City were there in small numbers, whether you except it or not I guess it really doesn't matter.

One year on and they're still banging this about. Utter fcukwits.
Poorly disguised smirks???!!!! The horror...

If we get something out of this you have to say it was a good decision short term to sack Cotts. Long term who knows but we'd probably be 3 or 4 down by now with 3-5-2. Why he didn't give up on that formation I'll never know
