  1. I prefer my "divisible by 11" version of events personally!
  2. "Pricing" is very skewed though still. £12 pair of socks - 180pts (15pts/£). £65 hoodie - 250pts....(3.85pts/£).
  3. So what you're saying then is that we need to win on Saturday 10-0 to get some lovely patterns going there, right? P33, W11, D11, L11, GD +11, PTS 44. Game on, I say
  4. Well if we continue to shop in the sort of markets that sell Anis Mehmetis then you won't hear many complaints from me!
  5. Fingers crossed they avoid cards on Saturday. Would very much like both of them available for the game against the Sheep Worriers.....
  6. Mr Pops is your keyboard broken again? This hurt my head deciphering this one!
  7. No, no, no....All he said was that they would be going into next season with no tented stands. All that means is that he's removing the tarp from the top of what's there because they realised they could take it back to Go Outdoors for a refund. So the seats will just be uncovered. And as for Ground Improvements, this will likely end up being them pressure washing the decking that the seats are on...though knowing them they'll just concentrate on Row M.....!
  8. In fairness, they did say they had clear images that they were willing to release if it wasn't returned, so my assumption is that those images are what they're basing their accusations on, not the images shown in the tweet. Bell ends regardless of affiliation though - like you say, just embarrassing.
  9. The FA need to do something about our awful penalty record. We've only had 1 penalty in 469 days! It's a bloody disgrace!
  10. Well I'm sorry, but if she will go around flicking a switchblade open and shut whilst wearing a "**** the police" tee-shirt, then you should expect to be checked once in a while!
  11. If having to flash your ticket ruins the whole experience for you then I'd possibly suggest that you're a little too sensitive!
  12. Pretty sure it's still the referee who tells the 4th official how much he's adding on and the 4th official just tells the rest of us. I would say that it does seem to have dropped, yes. As you say, no-one was saying that refereeing was any good, but I think we're remarking upon how poor X referee was an awful lot more than we ever used to. They're certainly being noticed for the wrong reason far more frequently than in times past, in my opinion.
  13. Intrigued to know what their definition of "sold out" is. The shop had loads of everything that was sold out on the marketplace!
  14. I said to @sinenomine in the 2nd half that is takes a special kind of shit to stand out from the shit we usually have, but this guy managed it. I felt he made what should have been an entertaining match for us to watch between two good sides into a very frustrating and nervy one.
  15. Just referring to the quote, my guess is that the Liverpool and Man Utd quote is down to the youth systems at both clubs. The Liverpool Boot Room and the United class of 92 would have been comparatively lower earners is my guess. Certainly an interesting take for sure.
  16. Although, as you say, he's achieved a few promotions from this division, he's been on a decline for many years. 2016 was his last promotion and that was aided by parachute payments and a Premier League squad. Since then he's done nothing of note. I know they say form is temporary, class is permanent, but 7 years is an awful long temporary period.
  17. Like you say, it's about opinions, but from speaking to a Newcastle fan who had to endure "Bruceball" for far longer than any of them wanted, even ignoring his past club allegiance, he was not surprised that WBA tanked. Bear in mind that (I think) they were in the hunt for automatic promotion when he joined and they finished mid table, with the slump continuing into this season I struggle to see how you think he'd have turned it around and got them winning more points than they now have.
  18. "Hey, watch over there while people read about our amazing new rewards app!"
  19. Jerry - wearing your supporter hat, can you liaise with the club that this whole sorry episode is a hot mess. I struggle to see how anyone at the club have looked at this for half a season and thought "You know what, our fans are gonna love this"! We have half a season to spend points on stuff that is unobtainable before they're expired at the end of the season. Unless we want to enter a prize draw, which is all that anyone can spend points on, meaning that if even only half of STH's enter then the odds are 8000/1 of winning. The thread linked below has pretty much most of the negatives that I've seen over my first 10 mins of looking at the scheme. Between this and the prices for the cup match, the club seem to be scoring more own goals than penalties! (admittedly not difficult!) Apologies for the rant, but I think we'd all like the club to come out and explain just what we (genuinely) have here to get excited about! The club have had an absolute mare here.
  20. So which Harry Connick Jr song are we adapting for him then....?
  21. You raise a good point. It'd never work....my sister is a munter.
  22. Fans don't win promotion, players and managers do. Even if both sets of supporters accepted it 100% (they won't) we can only add 4k to our average attendance. That simply wouldn't change a bloody thing!
  23. Addressed on the post above. And I 100% agree it's a harsh call.
