Come on lads....they've got a very intense atmosphere at the Mem.
Sorry....I misheard. A very in tents atmosphere.
As you were.

If anyone fancies reading the views of some ass licking hypocrites who now think Barton is God...here you go.
Should we be surprised that one of them thinks Tommy Robinson is a stand up, salt of the earth good guy.....? I guess I'm more surprised that he was criticised by other Sags on there for the opinion....

Final point, our last head coach will never get offered a job like Sunderland, will he?
Well there's an amusement park in Dublin called Funderland.......

Not all ST holders will have photo ID. Pensioners and kids etc... How will that work?
Kids I get, but what makes you say a pensioner is any less likely to have photo id than someone in their 40's?

South Glos and Bristol tier 3.
South Glos as well? I didn't hear that...Not wholly unexpected though, sadly.

If he goes there at this moment in time, I give up with football. He's good enough for us right now, let alone a team 18th in the league below.
I can see someone like Cowley taking it on, but I sincerely hope Cook doesn't go there.
Not a chance...according to a Huddersfield fan I work with the guy is a legend in his own lunchbox. He believes that he is far better than the likes of them...and realistically he is.

That's less than a 2.5% post to like ratio.... I wouldn't start creaming yourself just yet!
Anyway...speaking of irrelevance....back to talking about the Sags

"As part of the partnership, Cadbury will be supporting some initiatives at Bristol Rovers, including the creation of a new Sensory Room at the Mem. This will help create a safe space for everyone to enjoy match day and encourage a welcoming and inclusive community environment for all football fans."
I'm sure a sensory depravation room would probably help them more on a match day......

That's gotta be a made up team, surely?!?
Teams like this are what the magic of the cup is all about.

Looks great. Future Match days could be interesting. Pre match beers in the extended fanzone, game followed by a gig in the new arena!
So long as they don't use the same sound engineers as the Stadium!
In all seriousness, if they design and build this right, the gig options could be huge. They have to get the acoustics right though. Given up going to rock gigs at the Cardiff Motorpoint for example as the sound is just so muddy. Sort that out and that's a potential game changer for the city of Bristol.

Rovers have started to use the magnificent new training ground at Almondsbury and Mr Al-Quidi has just announced through his Instagram account (36 million devotees) that it is to be named “The Quarter”.
I understand this is because only a quarter of it will ever be finished.
I understood it to be the after the proportion of Bristol that could claim to be Blue......

I think that particular one was referring to Lansdown.
Surely you mean Pantsdown....because no-one shows maturity and hilarity like the "lady gardens" of Whorefield.

OK folks, remind me please. Which date twenty years ago were Rovers last above City in the League.
I believe, but am not sure if it was 28th October 2000.

It doesn't make sense to me to allow fans back in. Cases are going up all over the country.
Fans have to wear a mask all game, are encouraged not to clap or sing either so it doesn't create much of an atmosphere.
Also at half time and the end of the game fans will want to go to the toilet/leave how do they do that safely?
Quite easily with only 1000 in the ground, spread out. These matches will be used to assess where potential pinch points are when increasing the numbers and formulating plans to deal with this.
How many times as away fans have we been kept back after the final whistle. It'll be a similar process but on a block by block basis I expect.

I believe my 8 year old is slightly more psychotic than yours....so if your wife is in trouble god help mine!
Funnily enough when they met up at the Yate Town match my brother (been to watch us a few times) said "That's the Keeper, isn't it? The psycho!"

Could you imagine the meltdown if only 1000 fans are allowed in and away fans form part of figure? Definitely home fans only.

I’d agree on the pre existing conditions piece. May even suggest that’s something clubs will be asked to enforce (maybe fans when applying do a self declaration)
I think all the club can do is ask for expressions of interest (including on a family basis to avoid an 8 year old getting a ticket with no adult!) and then randomly select. Polls showing about 50/50 at present
My thinking exactly...though me getting a ticket and my own 8 year old not getting one would also be a very hazardous situation! (for my wife, anyway! )
I still think I'd want to see how the first few go before taking him down there though in all honesty...

If your glasses are steaming up then the mask isn't working. Just deflecting upwards.
The (virus) issue is with droplets, so unless the inside of the masks are waterproof and any droplets shoot out of your nose/mouth, hit the mask, travel up and out of the top and then change direction horizontally, I'd suggest they're working enough...

Masks are an issue for me due to asthma - but I'll still wear them until I'm finding my breathing becomes laboured and then I remove it briefly. The issue I would have with masks at the football is that I simply wouldn't be able to see anything because of glasses, which would make attendance pointless! I muddle by in shops without my glasses, but I couldn't do that at a game or at the cinema where the point of being there is to see what's going on.
(Masks would've been welcome over the last couple of years at the Gate, mind!)

I liked the part:
“The Club has registered a range of intellectual property rights, including current and historical logos and words and phrases associated with the club “The majority of words and phrases associated with Bristol Rovers are not the sort you you use in polite company
The use of the word "intellectual" when referring to them is kind of ironic.....and not of the Alanis Morissette variety either!
I believe they're also suing all the Governments of the world who instigated a lockdown during this Pandemic as the word is far too close to their protected word of lockout....

On a serious note though, why on earth weren't they fined and moved on? Saturday we were still on the stay at home order, and even today that's only changed to stay local. Unless those caravans really are theirs they haven't done either! To see plod there and doing nothing is quite extraordinary.
