Serious question, I'm confused why they went through the expense of putting this stand up for just 163.

Surely the space it has replaced could have catered for a larger number?

So they have actually decreased their capacity building this

To improve the percentage of capacity figures.....

    That’s very gracious of you..!

I’d hate to think that my whimsical remarks had caused any offence or misunderstanding.

Perhaps we should “canvas” opinions, just to make sure..?!

No need....  as it's such a common mistake, we'll just mark 'ee down as an honest error........

(Sag) if we had a 25k stadium we'd fill it (reality) they can't manage five figures (that's figures not fingers although they'd struggle with even that) at their dump.

No, but the can fill something with five fingers....usually their sisters.

  4. This guy ain't wrong, mind...(well...besides his spelling!

"My memory of cotterall, are the shocking interviews near the end of his reign at City. Blaming everybody but himself, extremely rude and uncomfortable even for a Rovers fan who should have been amused.

May well be a good choice to avoid relegation, but that would mean an extension to his contract before abusing all and sundry.

Don't want him near the club

And this just sums Rovers up:

Cotterill did a great job and cheltenham,he also kept a relegation threatened city in league one and the next season won league one at a canter.
He also likes direct football which wouldn't bother me at all as it beats tapping it around at the back any day of the week.
Hes not articulate in interviews but who gives a stuff about that?

I'm up for a bit of social media shithousery from time to time, but the official City account has just tweeted JET's goal, tagged the Blue Few and gone with #mindthegap to 'celebrate' it being 5 years to the day we beat them in a no mark Cup competition

I find that a little embarrassing, anyone else? Having seen all the Bristol - Barf sparring in the build up to that game (congrats on beating them, btw!) I really don't want to see the football side of the business going down that route

Mark the 18 years since they were above us, but a 3rd rate Cup game? Not for me

It's like poking a two week old dog turd on the pavement, what comeback are we expecting?

If you want a Gasheads comeback you'll need to scrape it off their sisters teeth.......

I worry about the use of the plural 'fans'....surely they could've just written....'Mum'? Providing of course that they know who or what she is. Presumably there is a greater need to drive these sags from Portishead rather than simply boarding a coach and driving it into the sea.....

Whereas I read "33 seater" and thought he was hiring a new stand for the club!

  7. The irony is truly astounding!

"I see they're also getting some flack over their treatment of disabled fans, although to be fair to the retards who frequent One Turd they are unhappy about that. Kind of brings to mind the disabled fan who was ill treated at Trashton that Henners rehabilitated to The Gas. But that's somehing else the 6 digited Mongs don't like to talk about."

Question about their development squad (Well, development sides in general).

If a Cat A academy wants to take a player from a Cat B academy the compensation level is pre fixed (I believe) - but what about development sides with no academy status?

I've not been able to find anything about it at all....however it appears as though they have a level 3 academy, so I wonder if that is what all development teams became perhaps when Academies were first introduced and applications were required to promote to higher academy status.  Their ultimate aim is to be a cat 2 academy....you know.... the level we're aiming to leave trailing behind us!

The kid's mum has been tagged in the post on fb so am sure she'll be getting pelters too...

Thing is though, the way I read the post, it's not the kid that nicked it, but the older "gent" in the background.  He keeps referring to "the guy", not the kid, and did mention that it was "the guy on the right of this picture....  They may have completely the wrong person that they're naming in any case!

.... is that me mentioning the fact that we had you over a few times nearly 30 years ago still gets on yer nerves :)

I think this epitomizes Sag mentality...you enjoyed the 90's because you had the better of us for the first half of it.....even your enjoyable times need us to make them enjoyable.  We've enjoyed the last 25 years (ish) because there have been some exciting times, good promotion seasons (mixed in with some real low points admittedly), but we've enjoyed these times because of the City.  Rovers limping away from being a genuine rival and also slipping out of the league added to our enjoyment of course....but it certainly hasn't been the cause of it though.
