  1. A prison sentence would be the more likely concern for the guilty party
  2. Yes I agree, the tweet feels like damage limitation from the agents end pointing out the constraints Nige has had to work with ( all fair points btw). A heavy defeat tonight would seal the deal I imagine
  3. To be honest I could see where NP was coming from, we've just been booed off and you could hear the frustration and criticism all afternoon so his instinct was to say it may be better away from the pressure of playing at home. I think as soon as he said it he wanted to get away from that subject and trued to word it as kindly as possible thereafter, do those interviews go out live on Robins TV cus they could have just cut it short and started again surely?
  4. This is the problem SL will have in allowing Pearson to spend in January, we've signed 3 right backs under him and he still chooses to play Weimann over the two that were fit today, I guess Scott would have played there if Weimann didn't also. We're also currently starting a 35 yo midfield player at CB who's never played there before over his own 1.5m signing who's been one if our better players this season so why would you give any more funds in early Jan to a guy who may not be there a couple of weeks later?

    Who?

Not a chance it would be Euell, after the Holden fiasco and level of criticism last time he promoted from within I can't see SL risking it.

    Who?

I think if you were out of work you would overlook the cons more, depends how desperate you were I suppose to get back into work.
  7. A captain is not a coach? Yes in cricket they have to be more involved tavctically than any other sport but still not a coaching role but even if it were as a captain (or coach) we won an away Ashes series and were world number one's for a period of time so what wasn't impressive about that?
  8. World cup would have to be held in the Middle East again in the winter to make that work.....I'm sure FIFA are already looking at that
  9. Not seen it on here already so apologies if already discussed but both games are on the Red Button, the Stoke one is a bit odd given its a Saturday 3pm KO?
  10. Doubt he'll have room for the Big Mac after stopping off at the Kebab shop on the way
  11. Couldn't come at a worse time for him with the natural break the World Cup would give us to find a new man
  12. Think it's getting towards the end of the road for Nige, too many false dawns now and defensively we are still a shambles
  13. Disagree on this one, he's always spoken very respectfully about us as a club (not seen anything post-Naismith either) and has done an amazing job bringing Luton up through the leagues. If Pearson were to leave he would be my top choice as a replacement if he doesn't end up at Saints.
  14. Not a fan of Fury (the man, not the boxer) but in fairness he answered the question at least 4/5 times and yet the interviewer carried on rephrasing it over and over, fair enough if you don't like the answer but at some point you have to let it go! Fury is presumably at the start of a brutal training camp and having some nobody rattling on with the same question would get the better of most of us. FWIW I don't think the Chisora fight is particularly exciting but you can just about justify it based on his recent performances including pushing Usyk closer than anyone else. On another note I see Simon Jordan is looking to get into boxing promotion...thought he may have learned his lesson with Palace but its his money to lose!
  15. I remember that game, the whole east end was waving fake tenners.
  16. And we've managed to crock the other two.....
  17. Blackburn in 1st have lost more games than bottom side Coventry....quirky little statistic that one
  18. Was just thinking this is probably the worst WBA side I've ever seen
