I see LJ says that Matty could go out on loan today, possibly to a League 1 club.

Shrewsbury? Hat trick on debut? :clapping:

No doubt going mob handed for the closest match they get to a local derby. As always they will no doubt be the innocent victims post the inevitable skirmishes, being the family club that they are....

Wonder if there will be any trouble between us this time. Been feisty affairs between us lately.

The Bodin money will probably keep them afloat until the end of the season but they are sure looking like relegation fodder.

4,000 season ticket sales in July/August may keep them going until Christmas I suppose. Not sure how many they would sell in div 4 though.

Did they pay back the money they borrowed to pay the players wages?

That was a short term deal. I'm surprised that the pawn shop took Wally's watch though

Transfer window closes in 2 weeks and they still haven't flashed any cash. 2 out for big money in their world and nothing to replace them.

Tricky game against Bradford for them tomorrow too.

Slowly sliding into Div 4 oblivion again.

Looks like the Bradford scouts have visited the Memorial Ground!

    Comment from Kenny Black, Bradford assistant manager;

" The state of the Bristol Rovers pitch, which is struggling more than Valley Parade’s, will also be a factor.
Rovers paid six figures last summer to have the surface relaid but it is now in such poor condition that they will have to get another one done at the end of the season.

I actually think SL having a stake in UWE would be a very good idea.

At present the U23 side use Failand, Twerton, Clevedon, Weston (or was that for an away fixture?)  Bristol Sport also has to accommodate any non first team rugby games, plus the Women's team (based at Stoke Gifford) are all dotted around.

If a small, say 5000 capacity stadium was built there I think it would prove useful as a home for these sort of sides.

UWE had already planned a 6,000 capacity stadium for students before the squatters in blue got involved.

I find it most bizarre that they expect equal coverage in the local media.

Do Port Vale get as much airtime as Stoke?

It annoyed me when they dropped into non-league football and still got equal press as us. Should have been on the same page as Yate and Mangos

As a Kingswood boy born and bred, it feels me with great glee that this monstrosity, which was about 200 yards from my family home, will be gone forever.

It defies belief that anything could actually have a detrimental effect on Kingswood High Street but this managed it for decades!

Didn't there used to be a porn shop next door?
