I can't speak for every other Rovers supporter, I am sure that various different views are held by others. From social media, and the part of the ground I frequent, I would say that a lot of people have accepted that tarting up The Mem is the only certainty at the moment. Maybe those who continue to talk about a new ground are expecting investment from elsewhere?
Which tent do you frequent?

I was at a family wedding yesterday, when a young relative, who had been sentenced to a lifetime of misery by an older relative by taking him to the Memorial Ground as a boy said to me "why didn't you take me to Ashton Gate back then, so I could be a City fan now, instead of paying £20 to watch utter crap"
I feel so guilty for not looking out for the lad 20 years ago.

No that is not the case.
We can apply on conviction for a banning order if the violence/ offence is linked to football. As previously stated this is the case and therefore that is the route we shall take for this incident.
it is down to the court to decide if the granting of such an order is proportional to the risk of further disorder at or in connection with any regulated football match. Each case is taken on an individual basis .
Julie, stop wasting your time on OTIB and go and catch some baddies!

A sort of CSF v GHS it's a knockout you mean?
Maybe we could get Stuart Hall to commentate. No, hang on a second, that wouldn't be appropriate.
Maybe Prince Edward and Fergie could put in a guest appearance?

With the big away day just 10 days before Christmas the huge price of travel is likely to put off many fans.

So one of their star performers has left to improve himself at non league Salford City and they're looking at a target from Dundalk.
At this rate I'd better look out for their scout at my over 50's weekly five a side!
These things take time.
Are you sure it's not Dunkirk? Must be one or two illegal immigrants trying to sneak across the channel who are good enough for the R*Vers . No questions asked

Mem Redevelopment Cancelled
Plans for redevelopment of the Memorial Stadium have been put on hold after Rovers owner Wail Al-Qadi was denied a Visa and the limit on his Mastercard was insufficient to complete the project.
The club issued a statement to say the current unfavourable climate had nothing to do with the decision even though the forecast is for heavy showers when the fan is turned on.
Sources close to Chairman Stephen Hamster have claimed the move is in response to sanctions implemented in 1977 after the kidnapping of Petra. Contrary to news report at the time the bitch did not actually die but was hidden up Valerie Singleton’s skirt, smuggled to Jordan and turned into a tourist attraction.
Mr Al-Qadi, who is sailing his yacht in St George’s Park, was not available for comment.
Have you stopped taking the medication Bert?

Bristol R*vers dustbin thread

I genuinely think that this will be Dopey's last season at R*vers.
He is apparently a talented coach and he must be getting sick and tired of the lack of investment, so come the first wave of sackings in the autumn and I think he'll jump at the chance of a decent League 1 club with a bit of cash to splash.
