Good Friday
Yeah I’d realised that but thought it’d be 3 o’clock like the last two at Stoke have been.

When he’s inevitably comparing wage packets with his best mate Alex it’s going to be very hard for us to keep him for very long.

The losing finalists would get £1m wouldn’t they ? I would assume it’s one payment depending on what round you get too.
No you get a payment for each round you win, so as @Silvio Dante says , very lucrative if you win a few rounds or go all the way

I think the “can’t be bothered with the FA cup, let’s concentrate in the league” crowd are dwindling by the minute.

I hadn’t realised it was a 12.30 kick off.

I think we can finally put to bed the myth that some were peddling until a few weeks ago that he’ll never be able to play Saturday/midweek/Saturday. He’s been on fire this last month.

Honestly when did West Ham fans become so soft? The moaning about the big rough Bristol players has me smiling ear to ear.
I noticed at their place they’re a very different breed than they used to be at the Boleyn.
From Moyes pre match interview onwards I don’t think any of them were up for it and they paid the price.

Delays getting into the ground meaning some missed the goal, and 11k in lost revenue…
Remember the furore over the move to digital tickets and cashless, and all the naysayers that suggested this could happen were called dinosaurs and hysterical
Yeah but how much have they saved over the years by not having to employ someone to do all the cash banking, including counting it and depositing it at a bank….if you can still find one?

Bit late in the day but I’ve got a spare for the lower Lansdown. £15 if anyone is interested. Face value £20

Tbh I’ll take that, still not seen a penalty shootout in person at a professional game before.
I've seen us lose to a shootout at Wembley. Scarred for life now

Penalties , then extra time
That’d be interesting!

If it’s all square at full time does it go straight to pens or extra time?
Extra time then penalties, all at zero degrees. Brrrrrrr!

We can all agree that Andi deserves a tick in the “good signing” box.
I wish him well and hope for some new signings that can tick that box

I'm confused by this because on social media comments were saying the six was given but I can't see why
Oh really? I’ve not seen anything else, looks a legit bit of fielding to me…..and the commentators

Had an advert pop up on Instagram for Racks sharing platter roast.
Looks incredible.
Has anyone on here been?Used to go to Racks loads in the late 90s early noughties, can’t ever remember food being involved though. I guess most places have food offerings now.
I there’s one thing that would get me moving back to Bristol it’d be this thread. Bristol looks like foodie heaven now.

With today’s technology it’s not difficult to magnify the camera lenses.
Technology to zoom in has been around for a hundred years but that’s not how televising a game works. It’s all about the angles and position I suppose.
There was endless criticism of our games against Man Utd and City. If you google “Ashton Gate camera angle too high” there’s pages of criticism to read on the subject.
I guess as we were at those games we haven’t noticed so much.
-
One of the worse views as far as tv cameras go is Ashton Gate. It’s way too high up.
Perhaps Jonathan Pearce will mention it to someone on Tuesday so they can get it sorted before we hit the big time. So no rush.

Jonathan Pierce once told me he didn’t do City games. I’m hoping he’s doing the commentary for the US audience!
In the past he’s said he wouldn’t do City if they got to the Premier League but may consider doing an FA cup tie.

Letter says Watford hmmm maybe I’ll appeal then
It does come close to south Watford but I've read before that Watford escapes it. There is an online map to look at to see if you went near

Did you get lost? Neither the M25 or Watford are in the Zone

Hope we've got a good vice captain sorted because there's no way Lewis is playing every game
Craig Overton is vice captain. Great cricketers and both with good cricketing brains.
Neither will be with us during the Hundred of course so that’ll need a new captain and vice chosen from the slim pickings that are left

I wonder when we’ll have a definite time for the Easter Monday game at Plymouth. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was moved to an earlier slot.
