I bought my ticket all the way to Stratford return, about £5 cheaper than just to Paddington plus the £5.60? Saved by not having to buy Elizabeth line tickets.
But you do then have to have an old fashioned ticket not a digital one.

From previous experience that means you can show the bar code from your email on your phone.
The club usually say don’t rely on this but it’s worked for me before, not so many people have printers at home anymore

Will they be digital tickets do we know?

Tickets for West Ham fans on Sunday were more expensive than for us.
Definitely recall seeing prices of £25/30 for home sections.
Yes I read it wrong to start with, very generous way of treating away fans. More of the same please.

West Ham was £25 on the halfway line.
Prices compare to relative stand. Was £10 for season tickets in away end, but that’s the same as £10 in the south stand this time.Ah I see now. Great prices anyway.

Well I don’t think they are the same as West Ham, mines £25! Not complaining mind.
Plus no difference for season card holders which I think it was at West Ham.

I think it must be, only Old Trafford and White Heart Lane are bigger and we've not played there since they were expanded. I don't remember seeing city's name on any of the record attendance lists of the big old grounds that might have had a capacity of over 60k back in the day...Goodison, Highbury, the Valley, Stamford Bridge, Main Road, Villa Park etc..
Yeah I was wondering about Charlton back in the day.
i think it’s the biggest in my time of watching which goes back to first division days.

Sorry if this has already been established and I missed it, but was today the biggest away following in the club's history for any game other than a final?
Also was it the biggest attendance we’ve ever played in front of bar finals?

Apologies if already shared, but this is a brilliant clip of the Radio Bristol commentary for the goal. Great work from Hadwin and Owers. We sound amazing too!
I’m absolutely drinking in everything I can find from yesterday!
There's some great stuff all over social media, infact we're trending at 1 on the Twitter sports trend.
Stuff from our fans, Hammers fans and general fans accounts loving it.
The only problem is all the shots can either have the higher tier or lower tier in but very difficult to get both.

seemed to be miles away from the toilets if you were in 222, I didn't want to risk it at HT!
Won't ASP have a say if City and Rovers are set to play the same day?
I think if TV want it Rovers will move accordingly

not necessarily, they could change the KO time. It's not that clear.
TV will have the final say on it. Not yet confirmed.

A late shout out to West Ham for sorting out those who didn't have tickets because they were with friends stuck on late trains.
They did a reprint for my mate and others were able to get in by using a photo of the bar code sent to them by their mates.

Shay Given wasn't it? Good to see him get some praise on national tv

On the last day of the season, to ensure no one goes into a game knowing their required result, all games kick off simultaneously.
If one crucial game had, due to " a medical emergency", a ten minute stoppage in the first half, would that be relayed around the country so that the second half of all games would be delayed by ten minutes?
I doubt it. They do all they can to get them to start and finish at the same time but you can only do so much

Cup game against lower league opposition, cheap tickets to fill the ground, there was inevitably more families than would otherwise be the case.
There is some truth in that but if you've been to Upton Park and to the London stadium you'll know everything is very different now.
-
I'm not sure it's possible to get such different experiences watching the same fixture than Upton Park and today.
Their fans seem to have changed too.

About 40 yards!
About 10 actually
It was clear from where I was stood behind the goal, just surprised the lino didn't flag immediately or aren't they allowed to do that anymore?

Worth it in the end. Missed the West Ham goal as did quite a few of us on trains.
Great start to the 2nd half, all played well but Williams my MOTM. Great following........ eventually

Taunton train held at Castle Cary, hearing Bristol trains are held at Westbury.
Trying to find someone with an iPad so coach D can watch the game!
I'm in train behind you. Gonna be at least 30 minute delay for all of us I think

My train is still on time with 3 major hold ups ahead but the train manager is expecting all 3 to be sorted before we get to them, I am on quite a late train compared to others but the first out of my town
Just got to hope traffic not held up too much in front of us.

Sorry if it’s already been mentioned but will this be the biggest crowd we’ve ever played in front of at a club ground?
Obviously we’ve played in front of more at Wembley and the Millennium.

Kevin Keegan could have been a City Player.

If Liverpool came along the same day I’m guessing he’d have weighed up both offers and let one club down.
Not sure who he’d have chosen!
