  1. Yeah and I’ve not told the wife yet! There is a chance she may not agree with my logic. It does feel like we might be better away from home for a while and besides next Easter Monday living in south Devon isn’t great for away days, especially with the continuing train strikes.
  2. A win for us tonight and I’m moving from south Devon to the Midlands. I’ll bin off home games and just watch all the away games
  3. When we have these discussions I’m always struggling to think who we might get in as manager. I see people mention Robins and Schumacher but if they carry on being successful there’s no way they’re going to come here as their next club.
  4. I've done it a few times, especially if I'm with friends who support the opposition as you can get away with it there as ling ss they're sensible. It's a pretty good experience. They used to give you your season card money pro rata back but now its just 10% which doesn't seem fair. Also my seat is much nicer than the one's offered in the HL. All in all I'd only do it now if there was an offer in or I had friends who supported the opposition and we wanted to sit together.
  5. If it was last Boxing Day, that was definitely Baggies fans making the noise
  6. I didn’t know that. He’s been phenomenal in this years one day cup, 172 today at a SR of 117. Come on leaps and bounds.
  7. Well Andy Umeed was worth the wait after all. Averaged over 87 in this years one day cup. Surely will open when the red ball re starts. Plenty of time to mull it over though as it’s 4 weeks until we see Somerset play at home again. Still, we had plenty of games in that cold, wet April.
  8. Crikey, reading this is a bit shocking. I’ve managed to keep mine at just over £200 for years for a 2.2l Mazda and my wife’s at around £170 1.3l Mazda, as she doesn’t do many miles. I’m dreading my renewal now after looking at everyone’s prices. It’s one of those rare times I’m glad I’m not young any more.
  9. My money’s on Ibrahim Sissoko, scored 3 in his last 2 games. So this is how transfer rumours start!?
  10. Ex Bristol City player saves us at one end, now for another, Hemp, to be the hero at the other
  11. Maybe but maybe just a few small adjustments, we’ve had great chances and will after the break, it’s going to be close but hopefully our extra experience as the game gets in the latter stages will see us convert our chances. I’ve thought today would go to extra time all along and am sticking with that.
  12. I don’t think it’ll be long into the second half before we see Lauren James
  13. Bronze has to take some blame but others should have been making themselves available as an outlet a bit more I feel The finish was perfection though
  14. The Ethihad, Manchester. No, seriously you have to remember this is a football forum and any defeat this is where we come to have a moan and get it off our chests, it’s quite important for some to do this and certainly better than taking it out on loved one’s at home. Have a read after back to back wins and and you’ll think we’re on our way to promotion. There are loads of great pre match places to meet fellow reds for a drink so be sure to ask nearer the time.
  15. Dave’s X (Twitter) account is @FevsFootball
  16. Yeah I get that and indeed we could easily have drawn the game, so couldn’t have been that bad. It was the manor of how bad the bad passes were, there were some mistakes that a championship player just shouldn’t be making. As @spudski says, hopefully a collective one off because you can’t be making that many schoolboy errors at this level, however well the rest of the game may be going.
  17. When I was driving home I was telling myself not to over exaggerate how bad the passing and at times the receiving of passes was. Then I saw this. You’d have to drop down some leagues before you’d find a team where that was not an embarrassment.
  18. I’d forgotten the name of that place, I used to live around the corner and that place has been a late night, early morning saviour on many occasion. One of those places you could put hidden cameras in and made a tv series out of it.
  19. And apparently around a dozen big earners contracts finish next summer so a Brummie was telling me, so presumably will be able to really kick on then.
  20. I’ve only read a fraction of stuff on here so probably missed it but also heard nothing mentioned on radio Bristol driving home. I thought Yeboah was a real live wire when he came on. Caused them a few problems. A definite plus from today.
  21. I’m not sure if you can blame Pearson or not but too many players just playing below par today. At least 3 times players let passes go over there foot and out for a throw. I mean you wouldn’t see that on the Downs. Poor!
  22. Easy entry today, I finally found the sweet spot on my phone. There's a first time for everything
