  1. I’m not sure if you can blame Pearson or not but too many players just playing below par today. At least 3 times players let passes go over there foot and out for a throw. I mean you wouldn’t see that on the Downs. Poor!
  2. Easy entry today, I finally found the sweet spot on my phone. There's a first time for everything
  3. Last season’s encounters were probably my favourite and least favourite games of the season. So hoping for a repeat of our home win and nothing like our disastrous away game. I think they’ve got 3000 fans attending, I’m all for big away crowds, spent too many years watching us in the lower leagues with a couple hundred away fans. Days like tomorrow are just great for atmosphere.
  4. Sorry mate you seem to be on the wrong forum.! Seriously, no I don’t know, I notice my nephew is my only special relationship, so maybe I had filled out in the family or friends section that he was family and my nephew. Is your one SR a family member?
  5. I think, if you log in and click on your name in the top corner which drags down some options. Click on personal details which should reveal My Friends and Family. Click on Manage my Relationships and then click on Create a Relationship.
  6. What a buzz it must have been for you to get those comments Dave and indeed the meeting. And as you say really pleasing for the club to be looking outside the club for any help. I’ve often looked at your interpretations of those data/stats on your twitter account and hoped somebody from the club was watching. I presume you knew people from the club were looking at it? Now you know it’s been used for debriefs etc does this add to the pressure when you do it now? Not that they can sack you if they disagree ?
  7. Well wasn’t expecting that. One win last year, 2 this year, winners in a few years.
  8. Just one £5 voucher per person. At least it was last year
  9. We’re the Kelly Holmes of football. Gold medals incoming!
  10. Yes, if anyone is wondering where it is, I’ve just noticed it’s moved to the General Chat section
  11. This thread seems to have been hijacked by some normality
  12. Thought I’d take a look as we’re in match week. Its updated from Birmingham on the 5th……to WBA on the 5th. And before anyone asks I’m not slightly concerned about it, just find it interesting that we’re all getting different things come up and different experiences at the turnstiles. I’m sure it’ll run smoothly eventually.
  13. He's a 17 year old college boy. Fine to give a game to when surrounded by experience and quality, not so much in that circumstance. Hope his enthusiasm hasn't completely disappeared after that
  14. 4 or 5 teams, including Gloucestershire have only lost 2 players
  15. I reckon there would be a few club teams that could beat this young Somerset team, so I’ll take 2nd best.
  16. To add to the annoyance of it all, we wouldn’t be a bit better if we had our full team, we’d be favourites to win it like we did the last time everyone was allowed to play in 2019.
  17. I think it’s great blooding a youngster in a competition like this as long as your surrounded by Craig Overton and Josh Davey or whoever. This is bordering on cruel and could knock their confidence for good
  18. To be fair that’s a very Somerset thing to do, maybe it’s his turn to escape the misery of getting clattered in the later stages, I don’t know. He’s an 18 year old Kings College student
  19. 455 to win. We’ll knock them off with overs to spare. Seriously, this just isn’t fair on the young bowlers. Hope this is the last year we have to watch this farce. Well played to the Sag head Bracey though.
  20. For the Gloucestershire fans who are thinking Somerset’s bowling attack minus their Hundred players is rubbish…. Our bowling attack minus them would include, Josh Davey, Sonny Baker, Alfie Ogborne, Jack Brooks and Jack Leach. All injured. This is our 3rd/youth team attack.
  21. And the award for the worst streaming in county cricket goes to……..Gloucestershire!
  22. The extra, extra time is something we’ll have to get used to with the new rules in place sadly. I thought our 6 minutes last week wasn’t too bad once I’d got on the P&R bus and noticed most other games were still going on. I know they’re trying to get more minutes of actual play in but I think I’d prefer the old system. Even with the old system we’d have still had time to score today I think.
