  1. Never ever write this team off. CLASS
  2. He never gets an ounce of luck that boy
  3. Once CraigO starts going around the ground you know it’s not your day.
  4. Yeah probably. I was expecting a little cameo from Green, Roelof or Craig and chasing 175 against this attack comes with so much more pressure than 150, so they should do this comfortably but we’ll never know what would have been enough.
  5. With such a talented squad it's hard to imagine them all failing, Dickson did ok. Complacency maybe? And maybe after a record 5 straight easy victories it was coming and if it was coming against anyone....... Anyway a bit to bowl with for our star studded attack bur probably 25 short
  6. Bentley must be happy wearing a top that’s a bit more low key than he’s used to wearing, certainly at City.
  7. That’s him finished at Auxerre. It’s been a good move for him but finishing with relegation on the last day would have disappointed him after they did so well to get out of the bottom 4. I wonder what the most first team games a midfielder has played before scoring a goal is. It must be getting on his nerves by now. Hope it comes next season……..maybe in the Prem
  8. Hope you didn’t put money on it
  9. I can’t decide, I’ve never been on the hate United wagon and I really like Pep. In fact I can never get really worked up about any football club bar one. So I hope for a lot of goals for both sides, a great game that the whole watching world can admire and what will be will be.
  10. Crikey I hadn’t realised they were 29 but yes it was 11 years ago I think when they made their debut. Hopefully Jamie can get back bowling. He was doing well before his injury and had a test cap of course where he almost scored a century
  11. I’m just happy seeing them lose but TBF since he left us he’s had some great knocks for Surrey coming in at 7. In his first season his batting was way better than his bowling. strange him coming in at 9 tonight though.
  12. He’s still recovering from injury and only bats atm. well done Glos
  13. Men against boys...... again. Great cricket in the first 5 games from Somerset and nobody has come close to beating them yet. Heady days but T20 especially things can change in an instant. This team just feels special though
  14. Exactly. There’s talk about having 2 T20 divisions with promotions and relegations. I can’t help but think this would suit us down to the ground. Though it’s bound to finish with some kind of final to decide who are champions, like they do in rugby.
  15. We’re just too good at the moment………which means we’ve no chance of lifting the trophy because that’s how T20 works. The Curran brothers both batting at the lofty positions of 3 and 4 and both out for ducks in consecutive balls made me laugh.
  16. I finally heard something about about my order, a guy called Tom replied to my email about a week or so ago saying he’d look into it. Today he emailed again saying they were running behind because of all the bank holidays. I think it’s been 5 or 6 weeks now, I can’t remember, I can’t even remember what I ordered.
  17. You can always subscribe to Robins TV, for the season or per match and use a VPN, hundreds or probably thousands do it every game. You’re not really supposed to but even the club are aware this goes on and this way it’s not a dodgy stream with ads popping up but a properly produced programme that the club get money for.
  18. Not too many places out then. We were probably 7 or 8 places better than predicted, same again this year hopefully.
  19. I’ve got those in mind too along with Leicester and Sheff Weds among the ‘new’ clubs. Now watch as they’re when I’m on holiday, Boxing Day, moved to Friday night for Sky or similar.
  20. Not bothered by being that low with the bookies after all I don’t suppose Coventry or Luton were that high this time last year. But below Cardiff and Birmingham?? Definitely top half for me.
  21. Yeah I share your concerns, despite friends telling me they’ve all been fine for the last couple of year’s it’d be just my luck…… Like you I much prefer watching live football, I’d rather watch Buckland Athletic live than a premier league game on tv. So with all the new platforms all getting a piece of the action I’m hoping more and more pay to view events will happen. My main sport on tv is cricket, the football I’m happy to pick and chose as long as the price is right.
  22. I’ve not read a whole lot about it but it does seem there’s an effort being made to clamp down on illegal streaming right now. Do we think they’ll be after those that actually stream illegally soon? I actually pay for Sky Sports etc but I’m increasingly feeling like I’m in a minority with loads of people telling me they get what seems like every channel in the world for £60 a year. With Sky, along with EE and BT putting up my prices this year by about 15% I’m almost certainly going to ditch all 3 when the contracts are up. I know they’ll offer to reduce the price when I tell them but too late, that increase was just taking the ****
  23. Yeah it would have been a big number, there were a lot of expensive hospitality deals too. My only complaint was I was a bit disappointed with the food options compared to football. Anyway, how the money gets shared around I have absolutely no idea. Will the football and rugby clubs see any of it? Talking to a few people who went to Muse at Plymouth’s ground on Saturday makes you realise how professional everything is at AG. It sounded pretty chaotic but I think it’s the first time they’ve held a concert and their concourses are awful compared to ours. As are most to be fair.
  24. We’ve had some great fielders over the last few years like Waller and Abell but our fielding so far this year has been international level. Very impressive.
