Don't think he's quite good enough for Spurs, especially if they're after a Kane replacement. Lautaro Martinez is someone they're after as a potential Kane replacement and he's of a much higher standard than Abraham. I know we look upon Abraham with fondness - but I don't think he's a top 6 standard player. I think he would probably be useful for lots of other Prem sides though.

Am I being miserable or are the jokes you get on here suggesting we could've signed Messi, the joke (I think) being that it's totally unrealistic, just unfunny and boring?

The Office (UK): Ipswich Town edition

Perhaps Paul Cook has the experience and strength of personality to be able to handle Ashton. I imagine Johnson and Holden were fairly easy for Ashton to handle. They've built up a good squad and under Cook (who I'd have quite liked here prior to Holden) I can see them challenging. -

I think he can look really poor as he’s never been a hard worker and will often do little else other than score. I imagine when he has games where he doesn’t score and the team play badly he looks dreadful. When buying someone like Pitman, a little bit like Wells in some ways, fans will have to accept that it’s his game. I reckon he’ll do pretty well for Rovers. Provided he starts most games he should get 15 goals+ in league 2.

He scored 11 in 27 league starts so a very decent record. I think it's a good signing for Rovers. Felt we never quite got the best out of him here.

Week I think. Month or Year would be pretty straightforward for them to manage.

Could try Fiverr as above. You can usually get the product in a couple of hours but if your budget is low results can be hit and miss.

He pretty much admitted to Michael Bisping for BT that all the instagram stuff was a bluff - can't remember where abouts, think towards the end. The whole interview is pretty good though.

Joshua vs Usyk looks about to be confirmed at Spurs' stadium for September. Really interesting fight. You'd have to favour Joshua given his size, experience at the weight and power - but on paper it's his most challenging fight since Klitschko. I have a feeling it might gel really well and I would not be shocked if Usyk pulled it off. He always rises to the occasion on the big stage.

I don't think he's a good guy at all, but I'll usually root for the UK fighter so wanted to see him win.

Thought Billy Joe gave a decent account of himself. Nowhere near powerful enough to really threaten Canelo though. Best he could have hoped for realistically was a close points loss - but after seeing the cards it would've been a wide points loss. Canelo just on a different level and too good. I think it's possible BJS might retire. That injury is a nasty one and will be vulnerable if he boxes again.

Robbored has form, @Banned User possibly?

Their stuttering form might help them in the playoffs. I would've been amazed if they kept the winning run up until the end of the season, albeit they'd have probably got autos if they did. They may hit form at the right time for the playoffs.

I feel it doesn't come naturally to Joshua, Benn is much more naturally charismatic. I think Joshua is much better off the cuff. Occasionally on iFL or other interviews he can be much more engaging, usually when he's a bit annoyed. He's at his worst on Graham Norton or something, so out of his element! I can see why they'd like Khan for him based on profile. Doesn't look like Khan takes it too seriously anymore so could potentially be a big scalp
-
I think he's just very well media trained. I thought speaking Spanish to his opponent was pretty cool, although clearly a bit of a gimmick
-
Benn has really improved. He's got a good personality too - right mix of humble and brash. Broner would be a really good name. I think Josh Kelly could be a good fight for him too.

Looks like it’ll be announced either tomorrow or early next week. All this stuff in the media was to build hype.
