Would that be a reference to malleus scotorum, aka Edward I?
I thought that was the English rugby team?
-
Nope. Chatham (Chav = CHatham AVerage)
But following the journalist mantra: never let the truth get in the way of a good story.
Chav is Romany for "boy".
In parts of Scotland - where chavs are called "neds" - you will occasionally be addresses as chavvie, although this is not meant as an insult, but is a bit like calling someone "son".

I wonder where you read that, Noggers?
I believe it's part of the Garden of England. Somewhere in the vicinity of the compost heap, I'm told.
Very good, very good.
It's also the hometown of tedious cook (sp) Gary Rhodes and Jack Hues, lead singer of 80s hopeless-ists Wang Chung.
The question is: will everybody have fun tonight? Everybody Wang Chung tonight?

Now there's something you don't often hear!

Now 12 clear of third place.

It sounded like it was coming, eh Robbo?
Bloody phone, Noggers. Was still replying about Rover's goal when we scored. Looked a bit odd on reflection!

Brian Wilson sent off.
Rest of Beach Boys infuriated.

I would expect him to say we were 5hit... correct... but he didn't... that I think was my point, sorry you missed it.
Not me. I'd rather have a bad loser, ungracious in defeat, then someone mumbling on about how it's all about the process, rather than the result, after a stuffing.

We've been starting weakly for at least 5 games now, but this is ridiculous...

Ayling's taken several kicks in the last couple of games and definitely seems to have slowed down. Trademark surging runs barely in evidence today.
'Lumbering' is a descriptive word you can certainly imagine opposing fans applying to Matt Smith, despite another goal today.
I thought the majority of the players looked jaded today, and they also looked weary as a team.
There certainly has to be concern that so many look fatigued so early into a really gruelling run of games, and you'd imagine Cotts. will be looking to bring in some fresher legs from the bench for Tuesday.
That's certainly true, Noggers. The trouble is the "fresher legs" didn't really seem much cop today.
I'd still like to see a pacy striker brought to the club. Need not even be our major goal threat, but just someone who can come on, give tired defences the run about and let our other strikers exploit the mayhem.
-
Based on what they saw today, unfair?
We looked slower most of the time. Sheffield attacked quickly and incisively. Ayling, in particular, suffered.

But our manager's dad is bigger than your manager's dad
Something that will never be said of Lee Johnson.

**** Swindon
We will, we will. On Easter Monday. ;-)

He also said "i've been backstage fisting Norman Lamont" still haunts me.
Not as much as it haunts Norm, I bet.
-
So what he's awful.
Do you need anything for that cough?.
As Swindon's Julian Clary used to say: "Try sucking a Fisherman's Friend".
Appropriate what with it being Fleetwood today an' all.

Job done. Not pretty, but job done.

Smith hurt
****. It gets better and better :-(

We have gone to sleep.
I figured tonight could have an "after the Lord Mayor's Show" feel about it.

Can I book my parking space in NW London?
I believe there's one free space in South-East London - or you could try rural Bedfordshire?
-
Well, suggesting Gillingham is a 5hit hole is a prima faeces case no? If you dig deeper you will find some interesting architecture... you need to explore beyond the football ground.
Rochester has its highlights, but Gillingham.... nah

I had a little peruse of the papers in the coffee shop near Paddingto.. Some nice profiles of our players. Flinty in the People; Fielding in the Torygraph; Bryan in the Indy. You can test if you're cleverer than young Joe in that paper. I wasn't.

Nice to see Korey Smith playing a significant role in at least two of the goals. He looked like he was having a blinder too.

Apparently we have someone called Keiron A Guard playing for us. Hope he's good.
