  1. Not permanently, just because the owners have covid. Great little place to eat though
  2. As per title. On shortly previewing weekend games. Would imagine he'll talk a bit about City/covid situation
  3. A player at the peak of his powers at the moment, what a coup.
  4. Lee Peacock? I recall he scored a lot of goals at the start of a season 2003-2004 ish
  5. Good level of investment, awful value for money...
  6. 90 seconds of nothingness. Proof of life and that's it. They might as well have just taken a photo of him holding a copy of today's newspaper. He was obviously at the women's game on the Sunday but I assume he wasn't at Hull?
  7. 5 people in the UK have died with the vaccination cited as the underlying cause of death. That's from 122m doses administered. Remind me to never ask you for any betting tips, as assessing risk clearly isn't your strong point.
  8. Josh Taylor should be there ahead of Fury.
  9. Nearly half the world's population has been double jabbed (3.3bn) and a total of 7.3bn vaccinations have been administered. How many more jabs are required for you to consider that the largest roll-out of vaccinations EVER, is not a trial?
  10. You are entitled to your opinion, but certainly can't claim to be "following the science"; you are doing the polar opposite. And to justify it, you have come up with a fabricated belief system referring to the vaccine still being at "the experimental stage" and the rollout being a "live trial". You are using scientific terminology incorrectly to justify your (some might say) selfishness to not assist in society being able to return to a version of normality as quickly as possible. The point has been made many times before, but thank god everyone didn't think like you, or we really would be in perpetual lockdowns, which oddly you can apparently justify to yourself.
  11. Wouldn't trust Johnson to put my bins out. The medical experts on the other hand.... That point has been made plenty of times on this thread.
  12. When they won the Premier League they had the 14th highest wage bill though. It was a miraculous achievement. Some good points raised about the history of the PL, however it feels like Ian King only watched the first episode as there's plenty of non-United material, not least pretty much an entire episode on Wenger/Arsenal. I thought it was an interesting show. I have a new found respect for United fans for resisting the Murdoch takeover. I'd forgotten about that, but it was a pivotal moment in English football at the time. Shame football supporters have completely lost their backbone now. Whilst the show against the Super League was decent, we are now in a position where there isn't so much as a whiff of protest at Newcastle at the Saudi takeover. On the contrary, an authoritarian, religious extremist, murderous regime is positively celebrated as taking over their club. The seduction of investment, eh.
  13. Erm, no. You didn't read the rest of the sentence you highlighted, did you? If you let a virus go unchecked through a population and a pandemic occurs then if you do nothing about it, it will spread to more people thus increasing the chances of the virus mutating. I'm surprised that you actually even believe in the scientific fact that viruses mutate tbh, we are making progress! Next week's lesson will be in how viruses, and in particular covid, transmit. You clearly don't know given you were dumb enough to write earlier in the thread "lockdowns don't work"
  14. It used to be three countries that ran the EU, but then one left, can you name it? Clue: it's the one the media told you was constantly being "overruled by Brussels" and having laws made on its behalf... Given the entirely predictable fact that we are now an economic rival to the EU, maybe it would've been better to remain and shape ours and Europe's future afterall?
  15. That's funny, cus all last weekend, this week and even during the race today, all I've heard from Verstappen is about how everyone is out to get him and he never gets any rulings go his way. Comes across as Alex Ferguson on wheels.
  16. You're an Audi driver aren't you.
  17. Christ, Red Bull arguments weak as piss ? "Any does not mean all" yeah OK, lads. Basically stewards call even if incident isn't in the spirit of the rules...
  18. Yes, we are in agreement. I'm just saying that part of Masi's decision was clearly based on just letting through 5 cars so that the last lap could be a race, which is clearly wrong. Horner admitted in his interview straight after the race that he'd been nobbling Masi whilst the safety car was out to "let them race".
  19. I know what the rule is... The point I'm making is that, judging by what the commentators were saying, if they had decided to let all cars through then this would have taken another lap out of the race due to time, and therefore the last lap would also have been a procession behind the safety car. Are you saying that is not right?
  20. If all the cars had been let through then it would have meant the final lap would have also been behind the safety car, so Lewis would have won. That's the reason they only let five cars through, to give us one final lap of racing.
  21. Obviously luck plays it's part in sport, but the fact is the only reason Lewis didn't win today is because two other drivers crashed in incidents completely unrelated to him. Seems a bit primitive for high-end professional sport.
  22. I would like to see what you think the correct numbers are...provide them please. If they are not from the ONS, where are they from? I said the 170k was "with". It seems reading is not a strong point for you, along with numbers.
  23. My numbers are from the ONS, and I've made clear what they refer to... Let's see what your numbers are then, the floor is yours.
  24. Yeah with covid on the death certificate it's actually much higher - 170,000. Thanks for correcting me, alas it hasn't helped your argument one bit ?
