Murray vs Middlesbrough
McIndoe vs Palace
Clarkson vs Leicester? (The one he shinned from about 40 yards out and took an age to drop in)
Smith vs Man Utd
Bryan vs G*s
Combo of meaningful, sublime and comical goals that have stuck with me
Oh **** off refs. That was the most blatant one yet.
This has happened too often now, I'm not a conspiracy theorist but something is going seriously wrong
Think it was correct. Both definite yellow card offences and the ref was very clear it was for 2 incidents.
Clearly he thought he wouldn't be booked twice or he wouldn't have made the second challenge!
10 contributions (goals & assists) in his last 16 I reckon.
Probably 30 odd games previously with about 5 total, so showing how good he has been lately
Gotta be Palace for me. Was old enough to enjoy it but young enough not to be entirely cynical how we were going to do in the PO final.
The subsequent games were incredible but the cynicism had set in by then ?
Or playing younger players in a higher age bracket means they will be first team ready at a younger age.
Or our 18-23s are so good that they generally go into our 1st team, showing the strength of our academy and importance of youth games.
Plus, what defines "making it" really? An academy player that doesn't manage to make the first team with us, then has a consistent career at LG1 is still playing at a standard that your average footballer can only dream of!
