And nobody else has any money either!

Got a bit of the Semenyo about him. Not the most refined player but must be terrifying to play against as defenders just bounce off him.

Must have moved to Birmingham from Austria aged about 15 so would imagine the bulk of his conversational English was learnt in a brummie accent!

We did not play a ‘Striker’ for 90 mins at home

'It is nothing to do with Weimann' Who scored a hattrick. Rightio -

I wonder if they will return to this thread everytime Weimann doesn't score in a game claiming they were right all along despite having never made an actual point. -
Millwall at home match day thread
redsince1994 replied to Jerseybean's topic in The Havanatopia Match Day Archive
I don't think either player is at fault really, Semenyo can either hold his run or break into space but can't do both. And Weimann definitely could have played it earlier but was understandably tired and took a moment to sort his feet out. Think the second break where we were 3 on 1 was a far better opportunity & Martin's indecision whether to play it to Wells or Weimann was a mistake. -
Now the 'best of the rest' in terms of championship goals this season. Only behind Mitrovic, Solanke & Brereton-Diaz who are too good for the division really.

Jesus we don't make it easy do we! Fair play HNM & Weimann, really impressive performances. Imagine if we could cut out the stupid mistakes, we would be talking about a dominant 3-0 win without Millwall really having a decent effort on goal. -

QPR mk 2, just being the masters of our own downfall. -

Doesn't exactly fill me with confidence but that must be the most academy players in a first 11 for a seriously long time? -
Uncanny how similar it was! Especially the red, absolutely unnecessary challenge on halfway when there was cover on the break, and I didn't realise he already had a yellow.

Now James is fit can we get rid of Bakinson

Another random QPR free kick? Rob clearly gets the ball there -
Havent had a drink in a couple of months for the exact same reason, myself and alcohol were not getting along. A couple of mates were still offering me drinks and taking the piss out of the fact that I wasn't drinking. Their tune changed very quickly when I was able to drive them to McDonalds at 2am though ?

I was certainly like that the next day! Credit to my wife, she does not give a toss about football but she understood the significance and let me ramble on without complaint ?

First time in my life I have literally been speechless. In the pub after i was frozen in place for about 20 mins just trying to process it all! What a game that was

The Coronavirus and its impact on sport/Fans Return (Merged)

Would feel for the groundstaff though, 6 pints of cider mixed with a covid jab could get very messy ? -
Completely agree. As much as I think the race finish was a farce, it would be even worse if it is overturned. As it is, use this to sack Masi and have some serious investigation into the rulebook, with driver input.

Hull City away match day thread
redsince1994 replied to 22A's topic in The Havanatopia Match Day Archive
Absolutely. That opportunity he had from Martin's layoff couldn't have been in a better position for him to hit into the bottom corner. Even if his finishing doesn't improve, he will get plenty of chances due to his movement and some will end up going in! -

Yep Semenyo would be a great second striker if only we had a lethal finisher. The ball actually sticks to him when it gets played forward. Don't think he will ever have the composure to be 20 a season as you say, but we simply have more of the ball in the opposing half when he plays, which will lead to more goals total . -
Now James is fit can we get rid of Bakinson
redsince1994 replied to Better Red's topic in Football Chat
Nope your claim was he offers 'literally nothing' in which case nige would never have played him. This was a case of our 1st choice CM returning to the starting line up. You should be a groundsman with how much you move the goalposts ? -
Now James is fit can we get rid of Bakinson
redsince1994 replied to Better Red's topic in Football Chat
I think we can switch out HNM & Bakinson depending on opposition as long as James is the other CM (or Williams ideally but he would need to stay fit for more than 5 mins) Edit: for context i mean i don't like TB & HNM as the pairing as we get overrun - although i thought AW actually did quite well in gaining us a bit more control in the middle today -
