Anyone know whether Edwards and Pearson are injured? A bit Surprised that one isn’t included tonight.
Not a lot of width in this side and if Jenna and Bell go wide, Wells will be isolated.
Simpson isn’t going to be bombing on from fullback.
I still feel this squad is better set for 352.

Just imagine having a top scorer with just 8 goals…..and getting to a play off final.
Impossible!

Well said! Nothing to add to that other than…. Solid, committed and giving us something to cheer… sounds like Terry Cooper side - and that’ll do for me!

There is a bright young English manager in the North East who might be available soon for them...

Sunderland fans have worked out that David Brent talks bollocks after 12 games. It took Lansdown almost 5 years. It should be laughable but actually angers me to think we replaced a top bloke and great man manager and motivator with that cretin.
As if that wasn’t bad enough.... to rub our noses in it we get the Cretin’s apprentice!

Yes. Still there too.
It is, isn’t it! I could only picture the flats but it is there. Amazing really.

Is that a bowling green, roughly where Nelson Mandela House is now?

Doesn’t seem like there’s a ban on booing!
Not that we’ll need it - hopefully.

Except he was successful at Burnley - at almost 4 years the longest serving manager in the Championship at the time - and certainly at Portsmouth, and kept Forest up by 10 points. Hardly a loser at any of those clubs.
As for City, he'll be judged by most on whether he keeps us up or not.
Surely, at the very least, you deserve a yellow card for "ungentlemanly use of facts on otib". Any more of that and you're off.

It looked like pure frustration and thinly disguised rage to me.
Fairly clear the interview followed immediately after a very frank exchange of views in the dressing room.
If he's telling the interviewer the performance was abysmal he certainly won't have minced his words with the players just beforehand.
A bit of a GJ hand grenade moment by the looks of it and a number of players will have been left in no doubt how unacceptable their performance was - and quite rightly by the sound of it.
Spot on. If his bosses are listening they will find some serious cash for loan signings. We need at least 3 real men, battlers not battlers in NOW - and Carey needs to return.

Tiredness can no longer be an excuse. Even Savage says so.
If Bas said that it must be true. If it was Robbie - forget it, he's a silly man in a lady's wig.

I must be the only one in isolation did not mind that interview - he is clearly spitting at the performance, as he should.
Nothing wrong with that interview - he was seething and just about kept it together, he cares. His reaction reminded me of someone.... Me after most games for the last few years.
There were better options out there but that's not SC's fault. The fact that SL felt Warnock and Holloway weren't the right fit tells you were that criticism should stand.
-
I can't hear him - so that's one advantage of the fact I can't get onto Player. Perhaps instead of not adding anything to the commentary our "head of media" could get on the phone to whoever runs Player????Came to soon in game for him according to Adam Baker

Doesn't work on iphone/iPad either....Thanks - but it is not available overseas (UK only)

The only positive I can give you is that their season ticket prices are "miles away" from ours. But you get what you pay for I guess!
-
Surely the moment he takes the job he's no longer a gashead? He's a former gashead. If anyone should be furious when he gets the job it is the Rovers fans - how would we feel if, say, Tinnion turned up at theMinimal Ground? And that should be enough argument for anybody

I want Holloway (or Warnock) as manager. We are Bristol City FC
we are not some souless plastic entity with no history.
If you want Holloway are you sure you are a city fan?
I've been watching the club for 34 of my 41 years.
I'm a season ticket holder.
I make a 450 mile round trip to watch home games.
You tell me - am I a fan?

And Basso and Orr (they did leave)And Carey despite the fact he never left...

Sorry, I'm in the wrong place. I thought this thread was about pulling birds!!

This is a shop window game…. I reckon. Question is, who’s in the window?
Nagy - definitely
Kalas - probably
Moore - probably (subject to Kalas)
Massengo - maybe?
Wells - maybe?
slightly surprised Palmer and Bakinson aren’t starting… I don’t think NP would lose too much sleep about losing either.
