  1. All beer fills up from the bottom of the glass.
  2. Nahki Wells after keeping Antoine Semenyo out of the Bristol City side and then reading the supporters wetting their beds because Bournemouth have offered only £9 million plus add-ons for his understudy...
  3. Despite being somewhat of an Everton fan, I like that. And it's accurate.
  4. Not recent times, but Liam Robinson used to work his socks off up front. Couldn't score for s***, mind....
  5. As the OP clearly stated current managers of other clubs, not ex City or past managers, I think I would say Marco Silva. Like his personality and how he comes across in interviews. As someone with a blue persuasion as far as the City of Liverpool is concerned, it's a shame Everton are such a cluster**** of a club. Both him and Benitez could have been successful there, but I think we're deprived of the chance .
  6. Bang on. Not always the wrong managers, but usually at the wrong time.
  7. We'd only miss them anyway. They must have stopped practicing them at least six months ago.
  8. Were the Dutch penalties route one then? ?
  9. He hadn't just come out of the ref's room had he?
  10. Did you get bored typing your username as well? Just wondering why you just put a second 'n' instead of 'tive'.
  11. It's a totally different situation. You can't quantify it in the same terms re winning or losing runs etc. There is an argument that says if Johnson was sacked after one win in ten, notwithstanding that he survived at least two atrocious runs prior to that, then Pearson should be nowhere near the sack yet. You can't compare Johnson or Johnson's situation to either Pearson or Pearson's situation. The two situations are chalk and cheese. As, for that matter, are the people.
  12. Yeah but that wouldn't be mentioned by the OP. Doesn't fit his narrative.
  13. You have been in that camp for quite a while in my opinion.
  14. And criticise the manager when we play badly and stay silent when we play well.
