  1. We have an excellent man manager. I genuinely think that if we lose 0-8 tonight it will not be good news for Cardiff.
  2. Haven't scrolled the thread, but I don't think we should employ any tactics to beat Man City because it is very, very ****ing unlikely. We should just go for it, enjoy it and try to play our own game. That will increase our chances of victory from 1% to about 8%. (figures in no way scientific)
  3. Hopefully Benarous will be the replacement for Scott when fit. Amazes me how people have assumed that we will need to sign a replacement, when if his injury is properly managed, we may already have an equally exciting prospect ready to go.
  4. Oh don't get me wrong, not hanging him out to dry after his first 90 mins. But we desperately needed an outlet up front, and he should have provided it. Wasn't sorry to see Martin go, but put him in instead of Cornick in the first 30 mins of that second half and we win imo. Was delighted and relieved when Nahki replaced him.
  5. Cornick for me. Not going to judge on his first full game, but tonight he was like Martin without the good stuff. Every time Max took a goal kick he was just strolling past Matty James in his own half. Needs to do better.
  6. So did I. It wasn't against the rules then as I recall. I guess it comes down to the facts of 'manhandled'. ?
  7. Was this on the pitch or off? I'm guessing it was off the pitch. So my question to you is... would it have been okay otherwise?
  8. In a hurry, so just scrolled the thread. Why should it be one 'vs' the other? That's not what this squad is about.
  9. He has the authority to do his job. But sure, defend the one in the wrong.
  10. All beer fills up from the bottom of the glass.
  11. Nahki Wells after keeping Antoine Semenyo out of the Bristol City side and then reading the supporters wetting their beds because Bournemouth have offered only £9 million plus add-ons for his understudy...
  12. Despite being somewhat of an Everton fan, I like that. And it's accurate.
  13. Not recent times, but Liam Robinson used to work his socks off up front. Couldn't score for s***, mind....
  14. As the OP clearly stated current managers of other clubs, not ex City or past managers, I think I would say Marco Silva. Like his personality and how he comes across in interviews. As someone with a blue persuasion as far as the City of Liverpool is concerned, it's a shame Everton are such a cluster**** of a club. Both him and Benitez could have been successful there, but I think we're deprived of the chance .
  15. Bang on. Not always the wrong managers, but usually at the wrong time.
  16. We'd only miss them anyway. They must have stopped practicing them at least six months ago.
  17. Were the Dutch penalties route one then? ?
