Hall of Fame Class of 2022/23 – voting now open

Lansdown vetoed him. -
I am a Pearson supporter, but you are quite right. I don't think anything boils my piss more on here than posters that say "Go and support the Gas/someone else". It demonstrates undeserved entitlement and being thick as mince simultaneously.
-
And we had top three form before that with the same squad and the same manager.
-
Kinda proving his point.
-
I would imagine that is the last thing he wishes.
-
I heard Pearson mention (I think after West Brom), that zonal marking frees up your best headers of the ball. I think the problem is that if our defenders are so soft, unaggressive and fragile, they are even less likely to win it marking man to man. If that's the case, I don't know how you solve it beyond binning the lot of them.

Oh here we go... Apt Username. -
I feel like I might be old enough to be in one.
-
Absolutely. I can't stand Man United, but they are undeniably one of the biggest clubs in the world. How any individual can think himself more important than that, just beggars belief. This is a player that used his wealth to set up a 'museum' of himself. I shall use asterisks now, to avoid overloading the swear filter. The bloke is an arrogant, self-important, absolute ****ing detestable, **** of the highest ****ing order.
-
I have already made the prediction that we won't be either. I am confident.

Nowt so strange as folk. Be boring if we were all the same I suppose. ?

Match Report: City return to form with stunning West Brom win
Superjack replied to Olé's topic in Football Chat
It was definitely on target, but my impression was that the keeper would likely have saved it but for Nahki's intervention. Still a cracking strike though. -
@RedEd73 Thanks for the update. The cynic in me wonders if the club have given him a warning and he has kicked off and told them he's never coming back. Hopefully the case is rather that he is suitably embarrassed by his own behaviour. Either way, a good result and I hope that you and the kids can continue to enjoy being part of the Ashton Gate family. All the best. ?

O'Leary was superb last night. I described him as a lower league keeper the other day, and I stand by that because up until 24 hours ago that is all I had ever really seen from him. If he can keep up regular performances like that, I will be delighted to be put in my place. -
Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't he pick an unchanged side against Millwall? He usually does after a good performance. Lee Johnson was a manager that chopped and changed too much.

I'm actually quite looking forward to the Lincoln cup game, because I think he might put Bajic into that one if he is fit. -

He will start O'Leary. Was quite protective of him in the interview after Millwall. I don't think he should. But I think he will. -
Booked my place. Never been to one before. ?

I've just forked out a tenner for the RTV stream. So it'll be my fault. ? -
Oooh!.. what colour is he gonna come back with? ? Is it green? I bet it's green. ?

@RedEd73 As someone said above, please keep us updated with any response from the club. I hope that this piece of pond life gets punished, and I hope that you show this thread to your kids so that they know that we know they have done nothing wrong and what we think of him. (At times like this, the swear filter is a good thing. ??)
