My Dad wasn't there. I was allowed to go by train/buses on my own from about six/seven years to visit Nana in the Rhondda. And from nine or ten to Aunt and Uncle in North London.
Dad's philosophy was "He who travels alone, travels fastest". It meant that I was allowed to travel by train to go places not even heard of by the other kids in the same street. And it taught me how to have the confidence so to do.
How the worlds changed and sadly not for the better.

Thanks guys. I’m guessing the biggest thing would be a whole chicken.
I can’t seem to find any stock anywhere as people are all after them at present.
I’m tempted to go for the Ninja two door one.

Bit of a random one but does anyone have any advice on Air Fryers. I’m thinking of buying one but not sure what size to go for.
I’m thinking a dual drawer one would be better.

Full coach going up, 6 City fans on the coach on the way home! One mad day.
Not gonna share too many details on here but you were always guaranteed a lively day out. Great fun.Sounds like a book should be written.
