    Yeah. Spike, not wanting to derail this thread at all, but have some funny recollections of them both togther at times playing up to the crowd.

    I’m gutted to hear this news. As other have said a true Bristol City legend. His jokes were perhaps at times not PC for todays crowd.

    That said the way he delivered them had me in stitches on numerous occasions.

    The club should mark his passing, as others have said he’s probably city’s most recognisable fan.

    Talking of fans, has anyone seen or heard anything ref Rod Stewart? Not seen him about for a while. Hope he’s ok.

    Rumours that Tiger has turned down a billion dollars to join. Mickleson pretty much confirmed he’s pocketed 200 million dollars. It’s silly money.

    The interviews are cringeworthy. Sad that the likes of Westwood and Poulter will now more than likely never appear in another Ryder Cup as player or captain / vice captain.
